The sky was still raining, and the hazy raindrops slid down the window, gathering into fine lines.
Joan Harry wore headphones and worked on problems while Jesse Rowan chattered incessantly in the hospital room.

Everything was beautiful.
Jesse Rowan must have really had too much to drink, his words were unusually many.
“Which high school did you go to?” Jesse Rowan jumped to her side and asked.
“Landon No.1 High School.”
“What a coincidence, too. Hello, senior.”
Although Joan Harry was two years older than him, Joan Harry didn’t know there was a “Jesse Rowan” junior because she had skipped a grade.

Yaya suddenly appeared from nowhere, cleverly jumped onto the sofa, then into Jesse Rowan’s arms.
Because it was warm inside Jesse Rowan’s clothes.
Jesse Rowan chuckled, “Little thing, you even know how to burrow into my arms, your cleverness is just like that young lady.”
Jesse Rowan’s gaze turned to Joan Harry.
Yaya kept burrowing into Jesse Rowan’s suit, its little bottom sticking up.
Jesse Rowan caught it, staring eye-to-eye, “Cold? If you’re cold, I’ll wrap you in a blanket.”
He actually did cover Yaya with a thick blanket.
Yaya kicked with its legs in grievance.
Hearing the commotion, Joan Harry quickly got up, ca over, and lifted the blanket off Yaya, lashing out at Jesse Rowan, “Do you know this could suffocate it? Do you have any common sense?!”
Yaya nestled on the sofa, not daring to move, feeling very wronged.
Jesse Rowan’s lips twitched, “I didn’t know… I’ve never had a pet.”
“Pets are like kids. Even kids feel uncomfortable under a blanket, let alone small pets.”
“I’ve never had kids either.”
“You!” Joan Harry stopped talking, feeling like talking to a brick wall, “So clueless.”
Joan Harry took the frightened Yaya back, not giving it to Jesse Rowan anymore.
The way she held the pet, for so reason, Jesse Rowan felt it was a bit like holding a child.
