Since that day, Jasmine Yale has beco immune to rumors and gossip, pretending not to hear them.
There are all kinds of rumors, so even more outrageous.

The gossiping students left.
Yukon Carbon saw through the rearview mirror that Jasmine Yale was approaching with a backpack.
The weather had ward up, she wore a sky-blue off-shoulder dress, with her hair neatly tied up, looking very much like a student.
Her fair face always carried a happy smile, never influenced by the rumors.
There were slight signs of bulging around her belly, but if one didn’t look carefully, it wasn’t noticeable.
"Yukon, have you been waiting long?" Jasmine Yale sat in the car.
"Not too long, about ten minutes. Tomorrow’s Saturday, we can rest a bit."
"Yeah, but I’ve missed too many classes, might have to go to the library in the afternoon."
"It’s okay." Yukon Carbon started the car, "As long as we can have lunch or dinner together."
"Aren’t you afraid of being with a pregnant woman and ruining your luck with girls?" Jasmine Yale laughed, "I just found out, we have a new teacher coming for translation class, very pretty, just graduated from college. Are you interested? If you are, I can help set you up."
"Since when did you like playing matchmaker? I’m still in a career transition period, not planning to consider these things." Yukon Carbon clearly rejected Jasmine Yale’s kind offer.
"True, President Carbon is still young, has a good job, and a good temper, no need for to worry."
"Yes, I have so many virtues, yet you still don’t like ."
Jasmine Yale paused for a mont, surprised by Yukon Carbon’s sudden confession.
She hadn’t expected him to still like her.
She felt she had let down his kindness.
Jasmine Yale lowered her head, caressed the seatbelt, and gently said, "Mr. Carbon, you’re ant for a better girl, not a single mother."
"But the myriad landscapes are incomparable to the best view in my eyes."

Yukon Carbon was worried she might care about those rumors.
