Chris Fern accompanied Jasmine Yale on a shopping trip, and she found that Chris had quite a knack for picking clothes with a good eye.

On the way ho, Jasmine sat in the passenger seat, propping her head up, looking out at the night sky through the window.

“That’s why I’m kind of looking forward to the gift he’s going to give the baby when it’s born,” Jasmine said with satisfaction, “I once imagined what my father would be like, and now I’m satisfied—he’s a driven, hardworking, and attentive man.”
At least, not a man like Kaine Zahir.
Kaine Zahir was a drinker and gambler who neglected the family and didn’t love her mother, even cursed people.
Now she knows her father isn’t like that, and she feels quite relieved.
“Are you going to the hospital for a check-up the day after tomorrow? Should I go with you?”
“No need, you’re heading back to Old York tomorrow. You haven’t been the deputy director for long, so you can’t take more ti off.”
“You always think a lot about others.”
“I just hope everyone I know will have a great life. Baby and I will have a good life too.”
Under the lights, her eyes shone brilliantly.
In the future, she will be the umbrella and the shoulder for the baby, to shield it from the storm, to carry the weight.
She couldn’t be like before, crying all the ti, when there was soone to comfort her. That wouldn’t be the case anymore.
Yukon slightly turned to look at her, seeing happiness on her face, his heart slowly relaxed as well.
A kind girl deserves kindness, and he hoped Jasmine would face fewer storms and find more happiness in the future.
Yukon Carbon saw Jasmine Yale up to her apartnt, only leaving after she went in, as usual.
Butler Santana had already tidied up the house thoroughly and smiled when he saw Jasmine return, “I’ll go run the bathwater. Miss Yale, you can take a bath.”
“Okay, I’ll continue to the library tomorrow, and the day after, Butler Santana, you can accompany to the hospital for the exam.”
“Certainly, don’t worry. I’ll accompany you to every check-up in the future.”
“Thank you, Butler Santana.”
Jasmine carried her clothes to the bathroom.
When she was pregnant with her first baby, Sylvan Cheney wasn’t around, and neither was Butler Santana by her side.
She went to the check-ups alone, bought clothes alone, and often had to hide.
She was very careful for exactly seven months, yet the baby didn’t survive.
Now pregnant with her second baby, Sylvan Cheney is still not here.
