This morning, Jasmine Yale rarely slept in.
Without needing to review for exams, the days have beco much more relaxed and leisurely.
When she opened her eyes, she heard the pitter-patter of rain outside. Is it raining?
Jasmine Yale pressed the button by the bedside, and the curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows opened.
Ah, it really is raining. The glass window is blurred, the sky outside is gloomy, and the rain is quite heavy.
Dense raindrops stread down the window, obstructing any view.
Jasmine Yale rubbed her eyes and glanced at the alarm clock, it was after ten in the morning.
This kind of weather makes people easily sleepy.
Jasmine Yale closed the curtains again, plunging the bedroom into darkness. She yawned and continued lying in bed.
A day suitable for lazy sleep.
After returning to Cakago, the days passed quickly, non-stop.
Now that the final exams are over, she finally has the chance to be lazy.
If the interview goes smoothly and she gets the internship in a few days, the busy days will start again.
She loved such days with the sound of rain, unhurried, just lacking a bit of warmth.
If Sylvan Cheney were here, he would definitely call her lazy...
The bedroom was very dark. After closing her eyes, she deliberately suppressed the longing inside her.
However, the longing was suppressed, but the little one started acting up again. Jasmine still wanted to lie in bed a bit longer, but suddenly felt nauseous.
She threw back the covers and went to the bathroom in her pajamas, vomiting furiously.
The little one started causing trouble again, truly an unruly little one.
"Miss Yale!" Butler Santana heard the noise and ca in through the door, "Vomiting again? Are you okay?"
Jasmine Yale leaned weakly against the sink, smiling: "It’s nothing; maybe I can’t eat anything too greasy at noon. I’ll have so porridge."
"Alright, I’ll make the red date porridge you like. It’s raining outside, are you going out today, Miss Yale?"
"I’m not going out; I’ll stay ho today. I have a PPT to make for the resu submission."
"Miss Yale, are you really going to work? Maybe wait until the baby is born. Work is very tiring..." Butler Santana faintly worried, "Even though the three-month danger period is over, starting an internship will definitely be stressful."
Butler Santana sighed inwardly.
If Mr. Cheney were here, he wouldn’t bear to let Jasmine Yale suffer.
He loves Jasmine Yale so much that he would worry for half a day if she just coughs, let alone allowing her to work and do overti.
And during internships, newcors can’t avoid working overti.
"It’s alright, neither the baby nor I are that delicate. It’s perfectly normal for pregnant won to work. I’ll be careful."
Butler Santana knew persuasion would be ineffective, so he only said, "Then Miss Yale, please be careful. Actually, there’s no need to be in such a hurry. You can just work part-ti at the bakery for the ti being."
"The baby will be born early next year; it’s still sumr. I don’t want to waste these months."
Butler Santana knew advice wouldn’t be heeded, so he knew Jasmine Yale was stubborn.
She nodded, "Then you should arrange your ti well and don’t overwork yourself, or else... we’ll all be worried."
"Okay, I understand." Jasmine Yale smiled at Butler Santana.
She understood it all.
At noon, Butler Santana made Jasmine Yale so red date and lotus seed porridge, a very light and fragrant porridge.
Jasmine Yale opened her laptop to work on the PPT and also polished her resu.
The rain outside was still falling.
