Capítulo 1826: Chapter 1826: eting CEO Cheney Is a Stroke of Luck
“Yes, President.” Kade Yuvan walked out of the office.
Sylvan Cheney took a sip of the coffee Erin Janus brewed herself, his brows slightly furrowed. For so reason, he felt the taste wasn’t quite right.
Perhaps he wasn’t accustod to coffee anymore.
“Are you going to work?” Erin Janus asked.
“It’s been a while since I ca here, I need to deal with things.”
“Will you accompany shopping this afternoon?”
“I might be a bit late, work is piling up, so it’ll be busy.”
“It’s okay.” Erin Janus smiled as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, “Work is important. Anyway, we’ll be in Cakago for a while, you can accompany to buy a ring.”
“Sure.”
“Then I won’t disturb your work. I’ll co find you later.” Erin Janus smiled and prepared to leave, “But ever since I handed over my work to you, I’ve been much more relaxed. Do you think I’m an?”
Erin Janus clung to Sylvan Cheney’s arm like a petite woman, gazing at his handso face.
The two were very close.
“President.” Kade Yuvan happened to co over with so docunts.
“Co in.” Erin Janus stood up, picked up her bag from the sofa, “Alright, I’m leaving now. You and Kade can take your ti discussing work.”
“Okay.”
Erin Janus left, her perfu scent still lingering in the air, a fragrance of lily of the valley.
Kade Yuvan smiled awkwardly, “President, sorry to interrupt you and Miss Alice.”
“Tell about the financial and investnt departnts this month. I heard there’s been so issues with cash flow recently. Normally, quite a bit of money is allocated to the investnt departnt. Also, the collaboration with TR has expired, why hasn’t the renewal discussions started?” Sylvan Cheney pulled out a folder, casually flipping through it with a serious expression.
Kade’s expression turned serious as he updated Sylvan Cheney on the recent state of the group.
Sylvan Cheney flipped through the docunts in one hand while taking a cigarette from the pack with the other.
He lit the cigarette with a lighter, listening to Kade’s report.
“The finance departnt director is on annual leave? He’s good at choosing a ti, isn’t he?” As he listened, Sylvan Cheney frowned, “Have the deputy director step up, and pass the ssage down that this is a critical phase for developnt, keep a close watch on funds.”
“There’ve been more social engagents recently, pull a few capable people from the PR and secretarial departnts. Those who haven’t perford well before should be transferred to other departnts.”
Sylvan Cheney took a puff of his cigarette, the white smoke rising, his sharply defined face appearing faintly in the mist, increasingly stern and solemn.
“CEO Cheney, I’ve noted it all.”
“How many new hires in this recruitnt? Give the specifics, the departnt distribution and numbers.”
“Yes, it’s all in this one.” Kade Yuvan pulled out a file folder.
Sylvan Cheney flipped through it, getting a basic understanding of the situation.
Kade knew CEO Cheney was detailed, cautious, and patient, often personally overseeing many matters.
It’s precisely because of this that the group has developed so rapidly.
At the beginning of the year, he was still Miss Janus’s assistant. In terms of staffing and investnt, Miss Janus was evidently not as adept as CEO Cheney.
CEO Cheney had extraordinary acuity, his unique insights into the financial markets always pointed out all problems accurately.
It’s undeniable that Miss Janus has good judgnt; eting CEO Cheney was a fortunate event.
Sylvan Cheney held a cigarette in one hand and flipped through the docunts with the other.
The office was quiet for a while.
The curtains were half drawn, the bright light from the floor-to-ceiling windows casting interwoven shadows on the ground.
