“How long have you been in Cakago?” A deep, tired voice sounded from behind her.
Jasmine Yale stopped in her tracks without much thought.
She wasn’t going to argue with Sylvan Cheney.
She turned around and smiled, “Almost two years.”
“Oh, quite a while.” Sylvan Cheney still hadn’t opened his eyes, his expression calm.
Ti seed to stand still.
Jasmine was puzzled, “What about you? How long have you been here?”
“Three and a half months.”
“That’s not long, CEO Cheney, you’re really impressive. The branch here was only established at the beginning of the year, and in the past three months, it’s seen rapid growth. I think it’s all thanks to you, CEO Cheney.”
“You’re quite talkative.”

Jasmine was taken aback. At this hour, he hadn’t had dinner yet?

She looked at him, trying to see if there was sothing different in his deanor, but there wasn’t.
“Why haven’t you eaten yet?” Jasmine asked.
“I just haven’t found a restaurant that suits my taste yet, so eating has been optional.”
“First ti hearing soone say eating is optional. Try going three days without eating.” Jasmine was a bit agitated, “Western food really doesn’t suit the palate. When I first ca here, I couldn’t get used to it either. But I know a hotpot place that’s amazing. Do you eat hotpot?”
“No!” Sylvan replied almost instantly.
Jasmine felt like laughing.
His taste buds hadn’t changed a bit.
He’s never been one for hotpot.
“What do you want to eat? I can help you look.” Jasmine offered.
“You’ve been here two years and know nothing?”
“I can’t bear to spend money eating out, so I usually eat at the cafeteria. That’s why I don’t know where the good food is. Besides, what I think is delicious, you might not like.”
You’re so picky!
“Forget it.” Sylvan thought it was pointless, he opened his eyes, face indifferent, ready to drive.
If he wasn’t feeling discomfort in his stomach, he wouldn’t be out buying food.
“I’ll go get it for you, I know a place with great dishes, I’ll go buy it and bring it to your office.” Jasmine suddenly thought of sothing.
“Which street, building number?”
“It’s quite far, and you have to make reservations. But I know the owner well. If you lend your car, I guarantee I’ll get it for you.” Jasmine smiled at him.
Sylvan didn’t trust her.

“The dishes there are really good, genuinely Landon-style. I promise it’s delicious. If it’s not, I’ll write a report as punishnt at work tomorrow.” Jasmine was still smiling, with an enticing grin on her face.

“Are you trying to please ?” Sylvan squinted at her.

Jasmine laughed, showing two rows of pearl-white teeth, “Yes, yes, I’m trying to please CEO Cheney, so that if I make a mistake, you won’t fire .”
