Sylvan Cheney stood at the door with a stern face, his expression was gloomy, not pleasant at all, his sharp eyes fixated on Jasmine Yale and Kade Yuvan, who were having breakfast.

The smiles on Jasmine Yale and Kade Yuvan’s faces froze.
Sylvan Cheney stood there like a giant statue.

Kade Yuvan gave an awkward smile and greeted Sylvan Cheney, “Boss, we’re having breakfast.”
“I’m not blind,” Sylvan Cheney gave them a cold glance, his face somber, “And I’m not deaf either.”
With that, Jasmine Yale and Kade Yuvan felt even more embarrassed, their faces displaying discomfort.
The air instantly fell silent.
Jasmine Yale knew it; Sylvan Cheney was the conversation killer. With him around, not to ntion chatting, you couldn’t even eat breakfast properly.
Kade Yuvan said sheepishly, “Boss, do you want sothing else to eat? I’ll get it for you.”
“The porridge you bought was awful.”
Kade Yuvan was already aware of that, really didn’t need another reminder.
Jasmine Yale picked up a dumpling and ate it slowly, “But boss, you can’t eat anything else, only porridge.”
Saying this, Jasmine Yale deliberately took a bite of the dumpling, “Assistant Yuvan, this dumpling is very tasty, filled with corn and shrimp.”
Kade Yuvan handed her a tea egg, “This tea egg is also delicious, you should try it, it’s five-spiced, quite unique, I often buy from them.”
