Now reading: Chapter 1930: She Pursued Sylvan Cheney First from Fated love: the unwanted bride, a Romance novel by Gauze & Snow.

Sylvan Cheney prepared breakfast for Erin Janus and handed it to her.

Erin took it and smiled, "Evan, I can take you to many fun places. You seem like soone who doesn’t go out much; you’re missing out on good tis."

"Maybe work seems more interesting to ," Sylvan picked up the iPad from the table.

"I had a lot of fun with Stacy and them last night. Can you sing? Next ti, let’s go sing karaoke, dance, or maybe race cars? Stacy’s boyfriend is super fun, you’re quite the opposite, you’re too cautious, too composed."

"It’s just my nature; I’m not interested in those things," Sylvan poured a glass of water.

Erin pouted, eating, feeling a bit unhappy inside.

How many tis has Sylvan said "not interested" now?

Erin took a bite of the chicken wrap, tucked back a stray strand of hair by her ear, and smiled slightly, "Do you feel uninterested being with ...?"

"Don’t overthink," Sylvan said while looking at the iPad screen, his fingers silently scrolling as he examined several data sets in the report.

Sunlight poured down from the window, illuminating the floor; the entire ward was well-lit.

The man concealed in the light beca increasingly handso and mature, with an inscrutable severity and reserve.

He was silent and spoke little.

Erin’s gaze remained on him; she knew he wasn’t fun like other n and was sowhat boring. But she also knew he was excellent and handso, and just these two traits attracted countless flirts.

Thus, despite him not being romantic, even being stern and cold, he still garnered many admiring looks in the company.

Because of this, Erin felt uneasy inside.

She liked this man.

Many pursued her, not lacking excellent second-generation wealthy youth, but Sylvan’s aura and temperant were enough to attract her.

She was the one who pursued Sylvan.

She didn’t know why she lacked a sense of security.

Clearly, he was a very reliable man, so why didn’t she feel safe?

"Evan, was it fun going to Mr. Dick’s estate yesterday? I heard there’s a sea of roses in the estate; it sounds so romantic. Evan, after this collaboration succeeds, take to the estate; I want to see the rose sea too."

Sylvan furrowed his brow, his voice indifferent, "I wasn’t there for fun, didn’t pay attention to the roses."

"I know, I know, you were there for the cooperation, I’m very assured," Erin laughed, "However, I heard you didn’t have Kade accompany you yesterday, but took that, what was her na, that woman instead..."

"Jasmine Yale."

"Oh right, it’s Jasmine Yale. I didn’t rember her na, but I’m quite familiar with her; heard she’s not very reputable. Evan, don’t let soone with poor character approach the company’s core projects, I feel uneasy."

"I have discretion; working on projects is unrelated to character."

"How is it unrelated? Can soone with poor character focus their mind entirely on the project? Do you think she’s there for the project, or has ulterior motives? Or do you not see anything wrong with her at all?"

"I asked her to take over this project; it has nothing to do with her."

"If I rember correctly, she’s still an intern, right? Evan, when did you start liking using interns for major projects?"

"I have my own principles for employing people," Sylvan looked up, gazing at Erin.

Every word Erin said was targeted; he understood.
