“Are you accusing ? I didn’t know he had a high fever. If I had known, I would have definitely co over to stay with him.” Erin Janus said, “Besides, what’s going on between us is none of your business. Don’t you think you’re ddling too much?”
“Nothing else, I just feel sorry for the CEO. He works so diligently for the group, attending social events and working overti, even getting a high fever from overworking, while you do nothing, going to bars to sing and dance, and you even accuse the CEO of not being the legal representative and that he must listen to you. Don’t you think you’re being unreasonable?”
“Jasmine Yale, don’t go too far! I have advised him to go out and relax, but he wouldn’t listen to . What do you an by putting all the bla on ? Don’t you think you’re overstepping?”
“CEO Janus, not everyone can be as idle as you. If a company’s CEO only cares about eating, drinking, having fun, and relaxing, then financial loopholes would be the least of his worries, and he’d probably be hounded by the bank for debt repaynt.”
Erin Janus wasn’t stupid; she could tell Jasmine Yale was alluding to her past financial issues.
“Jasmine Yale!”
“It’s understandable that you didn’t know about last night, or perhaps it’s forgivable. But this morning, when you saw him standing in the ward in a hospital gown, you didn’t comfort him or take care of him, you just criticized him and found fault with him. CEO Janus, I don’t think that’s what couples should do. Or perhaps you want to say you were raised in the West and don’t know how to take care of people, but not yelling at a patient is a basic principle, isn’t it?”
Jasmine Yale stood by the window, her expression calm: “When he was working overti at the company, you were out playing. When he was attending social events for the company, you were still out playing. If you were just an ordinary person, there would be nothing wrong with that, but as the company’s legal representative, wanting both a prosperous company and your own fun seems a bit demanding. And now, he’s managing the company according to his own ideas, and you want to ddle, even threatening him with your status as the legal representative—isn’t that too much?”
She overheard the words Erin Janus and Sylvan Cheney said.
