Arriving at the parking lot, she instantly recognized Sylvan Cheney’s Maybach.
The brand-new black car, understated yet exuding nobility and luxury, was truly a fitting match for Sylvan Cheney’s aura.
The driver, Elder Axel, was already in the driver’s seat and opened the rear door for Jasmine Yale when he saw her approaching.
“Thank you,” Jasmine Yale smiled in appreciation and got in.
“You’re welco.”
They didn’t wait for ten minutes; just two minutes later, Sylvan Cheney appeared outside the car.
He was wearing a dark blue shirt, a gray striped tie, and his long legs were wrapped in a pair of well-fitted trousers.
When at work, he was ticulous, with a stern and serious expression on his cold face.
He got into the car and sat at the back as well.
“President,” Jasmine Yale greeted.
“Hm,” Sylvan Cheney opened a folder, speaking indifferently, “Elder Axel, drive.”
“Yes, President.”
Jasmine Yale was surprised: “Is it… just us? What about Assistant Yuvan?”
“Just us.”
Jasmine Yale shut her mouth and didn’t ask further.
“There’s a thematic presentation during the eting later, and you’re in charge of it,” Sylvan Cheney said in a deep voice.
“Is it about the initial planning and data display?”
“Yes.”

Sylvan Cheney let out a cold laugh.

“Understood.”
The rain outside continued to fall, dark as night.
The raindrops pounded on the car window, creating a loud sound.

It was a long while before Jasmine Yale realized she was still holding onto Sylvan Cheney, she tensed up slightly and quickly let go.
