She supported herself on the table, stood up, and slowly walked toward him, standing behind him with a sweet voice.

"What’s wrong?" She wore flat shoes, so she was much shorter than him and slightly tilted her head up to look at him.
The light by the window was sowhat dim, making his face appear colder in the darkness.
"Nothing." He looked out the window, feeling that so place in his heart was empty.
"Are you angry with ?" Jasmine Yale raised her hand and pulled at his shirt cuff, her eyes shimring with tears, pitifully, "I didn’t an anything else, I didn’t say you have a bad character nor did I think you were a jerk, I was just... I was just joking."
When he scolded her in the office before, warning her not to seduce n in the company, she wasn’t angry.
How co when she said a couple of things to him, he got angry.
"I’m not angry with you, what’s there to be angry with a fool like you." Sylvan Cheney said blandly.
"If you’re not angry, co eat, the tea is getting cold." Jasmine Yale tugged at his sleeve, "Co over."
At this mont, Jasmine Yale seed like a child, pulling him, coaxing him.
No matter how many emotions Sylvan Cheney had, they dissipated in front of her.

She also picked up the teapot and poured him a cup of hot tea.

He took the tea she poured, frowning as he leaned against the chair.
Jasmine Yale continued eating without a care, occasionally picking him a few pieces.
"President, let tell you a story."
"Shut up." Sylvan Cheney didn’t even want to listen.
Every ti she said that line, he would tense up.
Stories, from her mouth, never any good stories.
"So fierce, it’s just a story. I tell stories to my baby every day." Jasmine Yale cleared her throat, "Here’s how it goes..."
"I don’t want to hear your stories! I’m not your baby!" Sylvan Cheney cast her a sidelong glance.
"So fierce..." Jasmine Yale patted her belly, clicking her tongue.
