The square was crowded with people. Even though they were subrged in the crowd, they still attracted countless glances.

“Wasting your youth.”

“I don’t have anyone to provide for.”
Jasmine paused.

She smiled slightly, “If you really don’t have anyone to provide for, I could let you take care of my baby for a while. You can buy him toys, formula, clothes, okay?”
“…” Sylvan turned his head and glanced at her, “You really know how to strike a deal.”
“You wouldn’t suffer any loss. When he starts talking, he’ll call you ‘Uncle’, won’t that make you happy?”

“…” Jasmine pouted.
The two walked leisurely, chatting, ti seed to slow down considerably.

The shoes were indeed exquisite, designed with deep red sequins, flat bottom rhinestones, elegant yet grand.
“I asked if you liked them.” Sylvan frowned, displeased by her attitude towards the high price, couldn’t he afford it?
“Don’t like!” Jasmine’s temper flared up as well, most irritated by his yelling at her over disagreents, was she that easy to bully?
“Then go in and pick a pair you do like.” Sylvan insisted on dragging her in to buy.
“You’re being unreasonable.”
Jasmine still ended up being brought into the store by him.
The store was luxuriously decorated, the lights dazzling.
There were quite a number of custors in the store, Sylvan took her to look at several pairs of shoes and then sit to try them.
Sylvan looked very serious as he selected shoes for her.
Jasmine sat on the sofa, gazing at his sharp profile under the lights, the corners of her lips slightly raised.
He would occasionally ask the shop assistants in English, and when he felt it was “OK,” he’d bring the shoes for Jasmine to try.
Jasmine didn’t have to worry about anything herself, he’d even squat down to help her try on the shoes.
His long fingers held her ankle, making Jasmine’s whole body feel a tingling sensation, her heart trembling.
