The unexpected evening drizzle was like a tightly woven net, enveloping the city skies.

The rain had started around four or five o’clock and showed no signs of stopping by the end of the workday.

The sky was gloomy, and the rain seed like it could turn into a downpour any mont.

Just as Jasmine Yale was worrying about how to get ho tonight, Sylvan Cheney’s call ca through.

Jasmine quickly covered her phone and hurried to a secluded corner to answer.

"Did you bring an umbrella?"

"The weather forecast didn’t ntion rain, so I didn’t bring one," Jasmine said sheepishly.

"Co to the executive office at the end of the day, I’ll drive you ho after I finish my tasks."

"No trouble for the president, I’ll just share an umbrella with a colleague to the subway station."

"I’m traveling for business tomorrow."

"It’s just... just for three days."

"How many days do you want? Hmm? Don’t be too demanding," Sylvan lowered his voice, "Bring the proposal you worked on, let take a look."

"Understood."

"Mm, be obedient, don’t make angry." Sylvan’s voice was as always low and seductive, carrying the allure of a mature man.

After hanging up, Jasmine organized the proposal.

At the end of the workday, colleagues gradually left, and the bustling office slowly quieted down.

Outside the window, lights flickered on one after another, fine raindrops spread across the ground, soaking the grass, tall buildings, and umbrellas.

The light in the executive office was on.

Sylvan had already drawn the curtains, and he sat at an enormous desk, slightly frowned, holding a report in his hand as if contemplating sothing.

As soon as Jasmine ca in, he put down the report.

"President, I brought the proposal. The project budget isn’t out yet, I’ll push the finance departnt for it. I think for the amusent park project, several bidding sessions should be held next, and we should settle on the partners first."

Jasmine spoke while walking over, handing the docunt to Sylvan.

Sylvan’s face was serious. He took it, gave it a cursory glance, and casually flipped a few pages.

"You did this yourself?"

"Yes, it’s my first draft. You wanted to see it, so I brought it over."

"What kind of ss is this?" Sylvan said displeased, "I asked you to do the proposal last week, and after a week you hand this? Jasmine Yale, what are you thinking about at work? I told you to structure it separately, but you mixed it all together. Also, what’s ’approximately’ and ’possibly’? I’ve told you countless tis, such uncertain terms are not allowed in reports to . Are my words just falling on deaf ears? Hmm?"

Jasmine was stunned, unable to react for a mont.

"And here, the first part is doing investnt analysis, and the second part jumps to case explanations. Do you think you’re writing an essay? With your level, your essays wouldn’t even pass," Sylvan scolded, "And this word, ’inco,’ I’ve told you the difference between ’inco’ and ’revenue’ countless tis. Did you even listen? Still using it incorrectly!"

"Jasmine Yale, with your level, how did you get into the University of Cakago?" Sylvan looked up at her.

Jasmine hadn’t expected to be reprimanded so severely, and suddenly she fell silent.

"Have I been too lenient on you at work? Not acceptable, rewrite it for tomorrow. When I return from my business trip in three days, I want to see a structured, rigorous, and serious report. Understand?"
