Sylvan Cheney was unwilling to give up. Even though he couldn’t see her, he continued searching for her along the road, searching for a long, long ti.
His footsteps were sowhat unnatural, and the thin, slender silhouette was stretched by the light.
For a mont, Jasmine Yale could no longer see him. He rged into a small dot in her pupils, getting further and further away.
He was looking for her everywhere. Even from far away, Jasmine Yale could hear him calling her na, "Jasmine."
In the darkness, Jasmine Yale lowered her head.
She didn’t know what she was feeling, or perhaps she felt nothing at all.
Her face was icy cold; the tears hadn’t completely dried. Her nose tingled, and the tears nearly fell again.
She stood there with her head down, occasionally letting out a sob, and her shoulders were trembling all the while.
The corner was very cold.
The night was very quiet.
"Jasmine." After a long, long ti, Sylvan Cheney’s voice suddenly rang in her ears, filled with awkwardness, tension, and excitent, "Jasmine!"
His cold, large hand grabbed her hand, enclosing her delicate, boneless hand in his palm!
Jasmine Yale was startled. Her body shook, and she looked up at him.
Sylvan Cheney had found her without her knowing!
"Jasmine..." Sylvan Cheney held her hand and pulled her into an embrace!
"You..." Jasmine Yale moved her body uncomfortably, "Don’t touch ."
"Let hold you, let hold you." Sylvan Cheney urgently pulled her close, not letting her escape, "I thought you would never speak to again. I didn’t an it, I truly... I really didn’t an it..." Sylvan Cheney was sowhat incoherent.
The man who usually commanded the business world with confidence and flair was gone. In this mont, Sylvan Cheney was scared, uneasy, and anxious.
He was afraid she would really run away.
When he couldn’t find her after searching everywhere, he felt disappointed and uneasy. But when he turned and saw Jasmine Yale in the corner, the feeling of regained loss... was indescribable.
Jasmine Yale was held in his arms.
Held tightly.
His body wasn’t warm, rather a bit cold.
Jasmine Yale’s face touched his solid chest, and she couldn’t help but push him, her voice choked with tears, "Sylvan Cheney, you are so excessive!"
"I didn’t an it, I truly didn’t an it, I just... I won’t argue, you can scold ."
"I won’t scold you, let go." Jasmine Yale struggled hard, trying to break free from his embrace.
But Sylvan Cheney pinned her hands with one of his own while embracing her waist with the other, not letting her leave.
In the darkness, their breaths tangled, rising and falling together.
Under the faint light, nothing was visible.
Jasmine Yale couldn’t see Sylvan Cheney’s expression, and Sylvan couldn’t see Jasmine’s emotions, but they could both feel each other’s presence.
"Will you listen to my explanation once, please?" Sylvan Cheney patiently lowered his voice, finding her forehead under the faint light and kissing it firmly, "Jasmine, I really care about you... I don’t know if you understand, the more you care, the more anxious you get, the more afraid of losing you I beco. Do you know? I care about you, very much. They say in a relationship, the one who falls in love first is destined to give the most, I don’t care about giving, nor do I care about the return. I just want to spend more ti with you..."
"Jasmine Yale, I care about you more than you can imagine."
Sylvan Cheney kissed her forehead forcefully.
The warmth spread from her forehead, then fell on her cheeks, and lips.
