"No, I’ll stay here with you. This is the only thing I can do." Jasmine Yale held Aunt Camden’s hand, refusing to let go.
"No, it’s already late, and the operating room is cold and quiet. You should go back early, listen to ." Aunt Camden said, "Don’t worry about Sweet Kitty, she’s already been fed. I’ll go back to the bakery tomorrow."
"Aunt Camden..." Jasmine Yale’s tears flowed like a spring, her heart aching.

Aunt Camden was never very talkative, and sitting with Jasmine Yale, she hardly spoke, her vacant gaze always fixated on the operating room door.

Aunt Camden worried that Yukon Carbon might develop so bad diseases because of this.
He now has a decent job, and his career is flourishing. It’s crucial that everything remains alright.
But right now, she couldn’t do anything, only watch silently and pray.
All around, it was extrely quiet.
Occasionally, a phone call would co in, breaking the silence.
Aunt Camden would go to answer the phone, while Jasmine Yale sat there confused.
Regret and apology are the most useless things, she knew, only leaving and returning Yukon Carbon to a peaceful life, never to disturb him again.
But just thinking that from then on, the mountains and rivers would part ways, never to et again, Jasmine Yale’s heart ached with pain.
The kindness of the Carbon Family to her was sothing she couldn’t repay.
Yet, she was too ashad to beg them to stay, she could only give them a peaceful life, as if they’d never t.
She understood Aunt Camden’s feelings, she also knew that after Yukon Carbon left her, he would live better, would rejoin life.
As long as he’s doing well, nothing else mattered.
Jasmine Yale sat quietly, aimlessly.
For a long ti, the operating room door didn’t open.
Jasmine Yale’s heart was suspended, nobody knew what was happening inside.
