Sylvan Cheney didn’t respond, just squinted his eyes and leaned closer, looking at her face.
He cupped her face with one hand, "Jasmine... you like , don’t you?"
"What’s gotten into you." Jasmine Yale swatted his hand away and sat upright.
"Did you enjoy the movie? If you liked it, I’ll invite you to watch another one next ti."
"It was okay," Jasmine said, "The male lead is quite like you."
"Oh? In what way?"
"His personality, I guess. The male lead plays the piano really well too."
Sylvan Cheney chuckled, "But I’m not that great."
"Yeah, you have so self-awareness, you’re a scoundrel, a pure scoundrel."
"Here we go again." Sylvan Cheney looked at her seriously, "A little what? Hmm? Explain it clearly."
As he spoke, he tickled her.
Jasmine Yale was most afraid of tickling, and she imdiately surrendered with a white flag: "Alright, you’re not allowed to ss around. Don’t you think the movie had beautiful visuals? Soday I want to release doves in a chapel, or from a tall building."

"Don’t go." Sylvan Cheney suddenly turned around and pressed down on her body, avoiding her swollen belly, "Jasmine, how about we cohabit, I’ll take care of you."
"You..." Jasmine Yale’s eyes widened; she didn’t expect Sylvan Cheney would make such a request; this was sothing only couples would ask.
Sylvan Cheney’s eyes showed sincerity and seriousness.
Jasmine Yale was montarily stunned, then shook her head, "I won’t trouble you."
"It’s no trouble. I know my apartnt is not big, and I can’t give you much right now, but in the future, anything you want, I can give you. Just give a chance, a chance for you not to leave ." Sylvan Cheney’s voice had urgency.
"Sylvan Cheney, do you know what cohabiting ans? It ans having a foundation of feelings, and for us, do you think we have any foundation?" Jasmine Yale looked at him indifferently, "It’s not that when we argue, you say a few things to , and want to make up, you coax with sweet words. That’s not a foundation of feelings. A little bickering is love, but if you don’t respect , that’s not love, and I can’t bear it."
"Jasmine..." Sylvan Cheney was urgent.
"Once, twice, three tis... I actually don’t rember how many tis I’ve forgiven you, but before long, your bad temper cos back. Cohabiting is no big deal, but what if one day you’re upset and kick out; should I cry or refuse to leave?"
"Jasmine, I would never do such a thing..."
"I’m not sure." Her face was calm, "I just want to give birth to the baby properly."
"Am I really such a disappointnt to you?" Sylvan Cheney lowered his head, his eyes dull and lifeless.

"We’ve slept together, kissed, you’ve seen all of , are you not planning to take responsibility?"
Jasmine Yale glared at him, "Are you trying to cheat ? Who slept with you?"
"Didn’t we sleep in the sa bed last night? Have you slept in the sa bed with another man?"
"You being drunk doesn’t count."
"But you weren’t drunk; a sober person should take responsibility for a drunk person, but you just want to cheat."
"Sylvan Cheney, clearly it’s you who are cheating!" Jasmine Yale was furious.
