Chapter 803: Chapter 803: I’m Here to Take You Ho
The noon sun shone weakly on the ground, and the water on the surface gradually dried up.
In the evening, the sky suddenly darkened, black clouds obscured the sun, and quickly, the entire city transitioned from daylight to night.
Streetlights lit up one after another, illuminating the city brightly.
The dark clouds pressed down, and the sky turned gloomily dark.
Suddenly, raindrops fell, pattering on the ground and on the leaves.
It started to rain.
...
Chale Cheney sat in the resting room for a long ti without seeing Uncle Mcintosh co out, and he didn’t dare to go out, so he had to sit there the entire ti.
From noon to evening, the little guy looked lethargic and listless.
As soon as it began to rain, he imdiately beca alert and watched the outside through the window—
The raindrops hit the glass window, which quickly beca all wet, with raindrops sliding down along the glass, converging into lines.
The window was blown by the wind, making a “clang” sound.
The little guy propped his cheeks, looking out of the window alone.
No one ca to pick him up, nor did anyone co to accompany him; he was like an abandoned child, all alone.
His dad was gone, Jasy was gone, even Uncle Mcintosh was gone.
He had been sitting here for a very long ti.
The little guy propped his cheek for a while, then lay on the table, unable to muster any energy.
The sky was dark, it was raining, would he have to spend the night here?
Why did no one want him… was he not good enough?
The little guy’s eyes reddened, scared.
This was a hospital, and he was frightened.
The darkness deepened, and Chale Cheney sat another quarter of an hour, still no one ca.
“Dad, Jasy, dad…” the little guy started calling out.
He didn’t dare to run around; he could only mutter their nas with a choked voice.
After calling for a while, his throat went hoarse, and the little guy sat on the sofa, lowering his head to wipe his eyes.
Just then, the door was finally pushed open again!
Upon hearing the sound, Chale Cheney imdiately looked up, his eyes flickering with hope.
“Chale, it’s ,” Lilac Serval sighed.
She walked over, crouched down, and wiped his eyes with a tissue.
She was not very good at taking care of children, but she did her best.
Luckily, Chale Cheney wasn’t clingy, nor mischievous, nor temperantal.
Chale Cheney sniffled and looked at Lilac Serval sadly.
“Just call Aunt Lilac,” Lilac Serval took a scarf out of her handbag and wrapped it around him, “I’m here to take you ho.”
She hadn’t expected such a thing to happen when she turned around!
Charles Mcintosh was injured by Spencer Childe’s n, nearly crippling both his arms.
Those bodyguards were ruthless.
Even with Charles Mcintosh’s martial skills, he couldn’t withstand several of them attacking together!
Lilac Serval knew Spencer Childe’s character; he was cruel and rciless, and he didn’t care if he’d kill Charles Mcintosh.
In his eyes, if Charles died, it would be deserved, rely a lack of skills!
Spencer Childe was iron-hearted and ruthless all his life, and Lilac Serval saw no sign of him changing in his old age.
“Aunt Lilac, where is Uncle Mcintosh? Did he leave the baby here? Does he not want the baby either?”
“No, your Uncle Mcintosh accidentally fell down and got hurt; he’s seeing a doctor now.”
“Is it serious? Baby wants to see him…”
“It’s not serious, he asked to take good care of you, so why don’t you co ho with auntie?”
“Have dad and Jasy co back?” Chale Cheney blinked his big eyes and looked at Lilac Serval, full of hope.
“Not yet,” Lilac Serval, unsure of how to console a child, said, “But you go ho, eat well, and after a good sleep, you’ll see them.”
“Really?”
Lilac Serval couldn’t bear to see Chale Cheney’s innocent little face, she bowed her head to fasten his scarf.
