Chapter 805: Chapter 805: I Will Shoot You in the Chest

The driver was going slow, the black Rolls-Royce crawling forward in the pouring rain.

“There’s been a lot of rain recently, cold and wet,” the driver said.

“This is my first ti coming to Landon,” Lilac Serval explained.

“Oh, so it’s Miss Serval’s first visit. Once the weather gets warr, Landon is really nice, suitable for living. Sotis you can walk around; there are beautiful sceneries and many historical sites.”

Lilac Serval remained silent.

Originally, she had planned to return to Lonton in just a few days, but an unexpected matter had delayed her.

...

She wasn’t sure if she could make it back on ti.

Chale Cheney was tired from the day, feeling sleepy, and he leaned on the seat dozing off.

Lilac Serval pulled him into her arms, “Sleep in my arms; it’ll be more comfortable.”

“Mm,” Chale Cheney rubbed his eyes, “Thank you, Auntie.”

He lay in Lilac Serval’s arms, and soon, he fell into slumber.

The scent on Lilac Serval was different from that of Jasmine Yale.

The fuzzy little creature burrowed into her arms, and Lilac Serval suddenly felt awkward, unsure of what to do.

Worried about waking the little one with any movent, Lilac Serval dared not stir, maintaining her initial position.

Chale Cheney’s small hand clung tightly to Lilac Serval’s coat, unwilling to let go.

In the darkness, Lilac Serval could just lower her head to see Chale Cheney’s face, calm and quiet, fair and beautiful.

Especially his long eyelashes, hanging low like two little fans, casting faint shadows beneath his eyes.

Outside, the rain was pouring down, the sound of water pouring everywhere.

Inside the car was quiet, so quiet that Chale Cheney’s even breathing could be heard.

Lilac Serval dared not move, just looked down at the little one.

She had never had a child sleep in her arms before.

The feeling was, quite wonderful.

Just then, Lilac Serval’s phone rang. She frowned, quickly pulling out the vibrating phone from her pocket.

It was Charles Mcintosh.

“Hello,” Lilac Serval whispered.

“Have you picked up Chale?” Charles Mcintosh’s voice was deep and hoarse, mixed with fatigue and weariness.

Spencer Childe’s n were exceedingly ruthless, nearly every strike aiming for vital points.

He was skilled, but couldn’t withstand several people ganging up on him!

He had almost lost the use of both arms and one leg, his abdon had been viciously punched several tis.

Spencer Childe was convinced he wouldn’t tell the truth; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been so brutally heavy-handed.

“I’ve got him, we’re on our way ho in the car,” Lilac Serval said calmly.

“That’s good,” Charles Mcintosh nodded, “Remind him to take his dication on ti and tend to his wounds.”

“I know.”

“Children are a bit difficult to soothe, but Chale is well-behaved, doesn’t fuss, and is easy to care for. Be sure to take extra care of him.”

“You’re well-inford, aren’t you?”

Charles Mcintosh chuckled, “After following Mr. Cheney for three years, I’ve learned a bit. When I have children of my own, I won’t have to worry.”

“Really? I kicked you last ti, didn’t make you impotent?”

“You seem very hopeful of my impotency.”

“Bad guys like you, I certainly don’t wish them well,” Lilac Serval said indifferently as she turned to look at the blurred raindrops on the window.

“Then I’m in a sorry state right now, if you want to co over and shoot , I won’t have the strength to resist,” Charles Mcintosh said, looking at the IV on his arm and the bruises on his chest, unable to resist a wry smile.

It seed like it had been a long ti since he’d been in such a sorry state, his head even wrapped in gauze.

But in this condition, it was better for Lilac Serval not to co.

Lilac Serval scoffed, “Don’t give the chance, otherwise, I’ll shoot you right in the heart, and I won’t show rcy. When that ti cos, just don’t fight back.”

“If you were to shoot , I wouldn’t fight back,” Charles Mcintosh closed his eyes.
