Chapter 811: Chapter 811: Don’t Leave This Ti When You Co Back

“Can you see it?” Lilac Serval adjusted the screen distance.

“Yes,” Charles McIntosh didn’t say much else.

Lilac Serval had experience in wilderness survival. Pointing at several spots on the mountain, she said, “Look here, you could hide.”

“Mr. Cheney must have already searched this place.”

“True, this spot is relatively hidden, but the entrance is too small to admit a person.”

While analyzing with Charles McIntosh, Lilac Serval pointed things out to him.

...

Charles McIntosh slled her faint scent and listened to her familiar voice, slightly closing his eyes.

Long ti no see.

“The heavy rain has washed out the road to the south, making it impassable, but Yolanda Fern might have counted on this and escaped southward,” analyzed Lilac Serval.

“It’s not impossible, but the south side is a steep cliff, not so easy to escape from,” Charles McIntosh said calmly. “What surprises is that Miss Yale didn’t send out any distress signals.”

“I’ve thought about it too, but I’ve figured it out,” Lilac Serval said. “Miss Yale might have been controlled by Yolanda Fern.”

In that case, Charles McIntosh frowned, “The odds are more bad than good.”

Lilac Serval was silent.

She and Charles McIntosh had the sa thought.

But alive or dead, they had to see Jasmine Yale anyway.

There was a dark gleam in Lilac Serval’s eyes; nobody hoped for Jasmine Yale to be in trouble.

But more and more signs indicated that Jasmine Yale might have already t with misfortune.

Thankfully, there were no lakes nearby on the back mountain; otherwise, the search would be even more difficult.

Suddenly, Charles McIntosh’s eyes shimred with a clear light!

“Enlarge the part of the map at your left ring finger,” Charles McIntosh instructed.

“Hmm?” Lilac Serval complied, enlarging it.

It was a cliff.

“Look at this place, is it not very hidden yet easy to hide a person?”

Lilac Serval looked closely and shook her head: “This place is so steep, how can you get in? And it looks like Mr. Cheney has already searched here.”

“There must be a cave here, no better place to hide a person. But since caves are generally hidden, it’s normal not to find them in one go,” said Charles McIntosh succinctly. “Moreover, the person in the situation often gets confused; Mr. Cheney in the woods might not be able to spot this cave entrance.”

He had experience in this area.

He believed Lilac Serval would catch on quickly.

Indeed, Lilac Serval magnified and scrutinized the area back and forth, her gaze intense and serious.

After speaking for a while, Charles McIntosh felt his body ache, his throat sowhat blocked.

He leaned weakly against the pillow, feeling heaviness in every limb.

After a long ti, Lilac Serval took out her cell phone: “I’ll call Mr. Cheney.”

“In places like that, ask Mr. Cheney to search a few more tis,” Charles McIntosh said.

“Got it.”

Charles McIntosh hooked the corner of his lips; his body ached, too weak to muster any energy, squinting his eyes at Lilac Serval’s retreating figure.

Her slender silhouette transford into a graceful shadow under the fluorescent lights on the floor.

Graceful and as light as the wind.

“Little Lilac, don’t leave this ti you’re back,” Charles McIntosh spoke softly.

The phone-calling Lilac Serval paused slightly.

The hospital room was too quiet; she heard him.

But then she just curved her lips in a mocking smile, silent.

“Little Lilac, I bought you a white dress, it’s in the second drawer,” Charles McIntosh pointed to a nearby cabinet, his voice low, “from Chanel, newly released, the one you liked.”

The drawer was not fully closed; turning her head, Lilac Serval’s gaze landed on the exquisite handbag.

The bag’s LOGO was very clear; she curved her lips deeply, her eyes a bottomless haze.

Flickering repeatedly, leaving no trace.
