It was her first rainy day at the Cheney Residence, the rain was moderate, bringing a cool breeze.

Sylvan looked up, and the glare of a vehicle’s headlights approached from not far away.
His people had arrived.
“Hmm…” Jasmine Yale made a faint moan and furrowed her brows.
Her little hand had sohow tightly grasped Sylvan Cheney’s shirt, clinging on, impossible to pry loose.
A burning sensation reached Sylvan’s heart.
