Outside the door, Harper Glorian was idly chatting with Little Kaisan, not having gone too far.
As the office door swung open, they both turned to look at the entrance.
Little Kaisan, seeing CEO Lorenzo’s unhappy expression, knew that the conversation might have failed.
“Little Glorian, let’s go, I’ll take you around so more. You haven’t been to our company’s gym yet, have you?” CEO Lorenzo stepped forward, “I’ll show you around, and you can exercise there in the future.”
“Sure, thank you CEO Lorenzo, so can I start the job tomorrow?” Harper blinked, smiling.
“Yes, I’ll take you to the HR departnt to check in.”
“Thank you, CEO Lorenzo, I’m very grateful.”
“No need to thank , it’s our company that’s gaining from having you join us, a strong and capable new mber!” CEO Lorenzo grinned broadly.
“Then I’ll prepare the materials when I get back. CEO Lorenzo, I will work earnestly and won’t disappoint your expectations,” Harper replied cheerfully.
Standing to the side, Little Kaisan felt exceedingly awkward, not knowing whether to stay or leave.
Ann Nolan stepped out of the office and spoke indifferently, “Miss Glorian, I suggest you switch to another departnt. The translation departnt is very arduous, and overti is common.”
Harper looked at Ann Nolan, her eyes conveying a sense of grievance.
“Sister Ann Nolan, I like the translation departnt. Overti is not a problem. Do I not look like an employee who can handle hardship?”

CEO Lorenzo couldn’t save face and scolded, “Ann Nolan, what’s there to fuss about? Miss Glorian is younger than you; can’t you be a bit lenient? It’s the first ti you two are eting; why make it unpleasant? Ann Nolan, can’t you give so respect?”
This was making him lose face in front of his subordinates.
He was in a terrible mood today!
“Being young is not an excuse to act spoiled. It’s not that I’m unreasonable. Miss Glorian ca here for an interview, and if she passes, I can let her join the translation departnt,” Ann Nolan said.

CEO Lorenzo was severely warning Ann Nolan!

You are the boss,” Ann Nolan spoke calmly, her face unchanging, “however, to let soone join without passing the written test or interview, consider it my dereliction of duty. Since that’s the case, I request to resign.”
She couldn’t call the shots for the company, only for herself.
