Ann Nolan didn’t say much more. In fact, even if this incident hadn’t happened, she had intended to leave.

Ann Nolan squatted down to sort through her things in the cabinet, finding a storage box.
“Sister Ann Nolan, I still think quitting on impulse is too rash. Think it over again. Decisions made in anger don’t count, and you’ll regret it. I once broke up with my ex-girlfriend in anger, and now… I really regret it.”
Ann Nolan laughed: “I’m not like you young people, I’m not impulsive.”
Little Kaisan laughed as well: “Sister Ann Nolan, we are about the sa age.”
“It’s okay, I’m still in Landon. In the future, when we go out for als or sothing, you can still invite . Don’t be sad,” Ann Nolan consoled him.
“So, Sister Ann Nolan, what are your plans? Will you switch to another company?”
Ann Nolan’s hands paused, her gaze holding a scattered light that couldn’t seem to consolidate.
But in a mont, her eyes regained their tranquility, and her expression remained gentle.
“I’ll rest at ho for a few days first; what cos after can be discussed later.”
If Zaiden Santos had truly declared she wouldn’t get hired by any company after leaving TR, was she really facing unemploynt?
At that thought, Ann Nolan couldn’t help but laugh.
That man, Zaiden Santos, was actually quite childish.
Always playing these juvenile and uninteresting gas, he was truly boring.
His temperant was a perfect match for Harper Glorian; they were like two children playing house who never grew up.
She was too tired to concern herself with these matters anymore and unwilling to exert that effort.
Marrying Zaiden was the biggest mistake she had made in over two decades.
She had never felt so exhausted before.
The feeling of being drained both physically and ntally was terrible, truly terrible.
She wanted to return to being the old Ann Nolan, earnest and diligent, happy and cheerful, pursuing everything she wished to pursue, loving life.
That was true happiness.
Little Kaisan stood nearby, his heart filled with an indescribable feeling, as if there was a stone blocking his throat, unable to speak and powerless.
All he could do to help was to pack Ann Nolan’s things, yet he didn’t want to.
How he wished today’s events could just pass, and Sister Ann Nolan wouldn’t leave…
