Chapter 852: Chapter 852 I Don’t Want to Die with You
Ann Nolan broke out in a cold sweat, now sitting in the passenger seat, she ca back to her senses, feeling scared.
Her pupils were still dilated with fear, her head throbbing vigorously.
How could she have done sothing so foolish.
Ann Nolan… what an idiot.
She cursed herself a few tis in her heart, her face bitter as she lowered her head, one hand pressing against her temple, the other supporting the steering wheel.
How could she have done sothing so foolish.
At the mont of impact, had she not thought of the consequences?
If Zaiden Santos had reacted just a mont later, or if his driving had been any worse, the two cars would have collided!
If luck had been even slightly worse, she feared she would have been dead.
With that thought, Ann Nolan was covered in sweat, her face pale as paper.
In the Bentley, Zaiden Santos watched her for a dozen seconds, his icy gaze piercing through the glass, landing directly on her face!
He suppressed the urge to curse at her, turned off the engine, and forcefully pushed open the car door.
“Bang bang”—
He knocked on Ann Nolan’s car window, his expression dark and grim.
Frightened, Ann Nolan hadn’t co back to her senses yet, sitting dazed in her seat.
Zaiden kept knocking on the window, and Ann Nolan, with trembling hands, opened the car door.
As soon as the door opened, the cold wind rushed in.
Zaiden Santos reached out, grabbed Ann Nolan’s arm, and dragged her out from the driver’s seat!
“Ann Nolan, do you have a death wish or what? Are you tired of living?” he berated her as soon as he spoke.
Ann Nolan’s arm was yanked by him; she could feel the anger and force in his fingers.
She raised her other hand, gently rubbing her brow.
Ann Nolan was tall, but she still appeared frail and petite in front of the even taller Zaiden Santos.
The two stood face to face, Zaiden’s gaze on her face was sharp and indifferent.
anwhile, Ann Nolan hung her head low, like a child who had done sothing wrong, taking a long ti to respond as he forcefully scolded her.
Her ponytail had co undone, and her ssy hair draped over one shoulder.
Who knew where the hair tie had gone.
She looked innocent and pitiable.
“Not talking now? Usually you’re so capable, always ready to talk back to more fiercely than anyone, speak up!” Zaiden followed relentlessly.
Ann Nolan’s temples continued to throb, her head aching.
She listened to Zaiden’s scolding in silence for a long ti.
After a long while, she finally spoke softly, “Even if I’m tired of living, I don’t want to die with you. It was just pressing the accelerator instead of the brake.”
Zaiden Santos scoffed.
He didn’t believe such nonsense.
“Ann Nolan, do you always have to make a fuss with ? Isn’t it good to just be obedient?”
“Make a fuss?” Ann Nolan seed to find it laughable, sneering, “Do I look like the kind of little girl who throws temper tantrums? Right, I’m just the type you most dislike, authoritative, unfeeling, cold-blooded. So don’t use that word on , don’t disgust with it.”
“And obedient? I’m not your property. I don’t have to listen to you.”
Zaiden Santos stepped up, reaching out to grab her chin.
“This sharp tongue of yours hasn’t changed a bit, Ann Nolan. In any case, you’re not a good wife.”
“Then let’s get a divorce, sign it! Why are you so stubborn about refusing to sign?” Ann Nolan exploded.
“Ann Nolan, you always tell there’s nothing between you and other n outside. But what was that scene I just witnessed? Hmm? Being reluctant to part with your male assistant, exchanging tender glances, so full of love and affection, quite moving.”
“Zaiden Santos, you saw that? Good, I’ve been involved with other n, do you hate now? So will you sign?”
