“Let go.” Ann Nolan glared at him, her eyes falling upon his broad, strong hand.
His hand was still gripping her arm.
He was right, she wouldn’t tell Grandpa about these trivial, chaotic matters.
He had her temperant totally figured out.
“Have lunch together?” Zaiden Santos looked at her, “Grandpa wants us to co over today, so I ca to pick you up.”
Ann Nolan furrowed her brows: “I’m not hungry.”
“Hungry or not, you’ll accompany there.”
“Don’t worry, I will.” Ann Nolan spoke indifferently, “Has Grandpa loosened up about the Santos Family matter?”
“Before the new year, he handed the financial district project in the East Suburb. Once I finish this project, he might loosen up.”
“Financial district project? That project is quite challenging and ti-consuming. Many in Landon have attempted it but all have failed. Zaiden Santos, can you complete it?” Ann Nolan sneered.
“Ann Nolan!” Zaiden Santos clenched her arm, fuming, his eyes nearly lethal.
“I’m just telling it like it is.” Ann Nolan’s expression remained indifferent.
Moreover, she was utterly unconcerned.
If he could successfully pull off this project, Zaiden Santos’s status in the financial world would be extraordinary.
At that point, he would be the center of everyone’s attention.
After all, many financial experts older and more experienced than he had failed to execute this project successfully.
If he succeeded, wouldn’t that put him in a league of his own?

“I wish you success,” Ann Nolan said coolly, “focus on the project, and after you succeed, you’ll have everything.”

She was like a tranquil water lily, silently blooming and silently closing again.

The winter sun cast a gentle light on the glass, refracting colorful rays onto the car body.
