Chapter 856: Chapter 856: Can’t See Her Jasy Anymore
Sotis she would stroll through luxury stores to look at all the things she had never been able to afford since she was little.
When there was work, she did it; when there wasn’t, she idled away her ti in freedom.
It seed leisurely and simple.
She had seemingly grown used to such a life, eating the New Year’s Eve al alone, sleeping in on the day of the Spring Festival.
Sotis she would join her master for a couple of drinks, but most of the ti, life was lonely and uninteresting.
She planted many flowers and plants in her apartnt, where the sunlight was filled with beautiful colors.
Yet, she still couldn’t find the feeling of ho. Facing the fierce white landlady demanding rent, all she could do was helplessly shrug her shoulders.
But Mr. Cheney’s villa was different; she could feel the warmth emanating from it.
She felt it as soon as she entered that morning.
Lilac Serval took a sip of tea.
“Miss Serval, sorry for the wait, Chale is about to co down,” Butler Santana said.
“It’s fine, let him sleep a bit longer,” Lilac smiled.
There was still plenty of ti before the plane took off.
“Miss Serval, Mr. Cheney went out early this morning. Did he go to Miss Yale’s hospital room?”
Lilac Serval nodded, “Yes, he went to see Miss Yale.”
“I’ve noticed that Mr. Cheney hasn’t slept much these past two days, he looks terrible. The food I cooked doesn’t seem to suit his taste, and he’s barely eating anything. He must be especially worried about Miss Yale…”
“Yes, he is very worried. He’s been by Miss Yale’s side these last few days without rest…”
“I’ve been with Mr. Cheney for three years, and I’ve never seen him take care of anyone like this; Miss Yale is the first,” Butler Santana remarked.
Lilac Serval took another sip of tea; indeed.
“Miss Serval, do you want to accompany the young master later?”
“That won’t be necessary, Butler Santana. You stay at ho and cook so chicken soup, then deliver it to the hospital later. I’ll take the young master there, don’t worry.”
“I’m definitely at ease with Miss Serval handling things.”
Lilac Serval just smiled slightly, saying nothing more.
Sylvan Cheney had asked her to pick up Chale Cheney and forbade her from revealing anything to Chale before they left Landon.
Sylvan Cheney was afraid that Chale would cry his heart out. He had left early in the morning, unwilling to face the little one’s expression.
Lilac Serval was rather helpless; she had to be the bad one.
Probably after this, she would be nothing but the Bad Aunt in Chale’s eyes.
Bad Aunt… she didn’t want that either.
As they spoke, the little guy step by step made his way downstairs.
Holding onto the railing, he walked very slowly.
Riceball, the large dog, sohow burst out, jumping around Chale, wagging its tail.
Butler Santana explained with a smile, “Miss Serval, that’s the young master’s Elaskan, nad Riceball.”
“How cute,” Lilac Serval said, her gaze fixed on the scene.
The dumb and dazed big dog, hopping around Chale.
“There’s also a little fox, another of the young master’s treasures,” Butler Santana added, “Pure white, the young master is so fond of it, he needs to see it every day to be happy.”
Lilac Serval felt an indescribable feeling in her heart.
Once in Lonton, Chale would never see his Elaskan or little fox again.
Nor would he see his Jasy.
A bitter sourness spread in her throat, bit by bit, seeping into the marrow.
Her gaze returned to Chale, the little tyke happily hugged his big dog, playing with it.
Riceball licked the back of Chale’s hand, squinting its eyes contentedly, rubbing against him.
“Young master, it’s ti for breakfast. After eating, you’ll go see Miss Yale with Aunt Serval.”
