Chapter 886: Chapter 886: When Marrying Her Chapter 886: Chapter 886: When Marrying Her “It’s for you, so of course, you have to try it on,” Zaiden Santos said with all the righteousness he could muster.

He did not quite understand Ann Nolan’s logic.

Maybe it was the difference between n and won?

Seeing his determination, Ann Nolan knew she would not have a mont’s peace that day unless she tried it on.

She did not say anything more to him, took the dress, and put it on.

With her back to Zaiden Santos, Zaiden did not take issue with it, silently watching her movents.

She could not reach the zipper at the back, so Zaiden Santos pulled it up for her.

There was a carved European-style floor mirror in the bedroom, and after she was dressed, Ann Nolan stood in front of it to have a look.

The dress was very exquisitely styled, and the size was just right, not too big or too small.

Her figure did not match Harper Glorian’s. She was much taller than Harper.

It seed the dress was not one that Harper Glorian no longer wanted.

But one could not jump to conclusions. Maybe it was just the wrong size, and it did not fit Harper, so she gave it to her.

Zaiden Santos for the first ti noticed how good Ann Nolan’s figure was, curvaceous in all the right places, even more womanly than when she first married him.

He rembered when she first beca his wife, she was particularly thin, so much so that it was uncomfortable to sleep with her, and there was no pleasure in touching her.

Now… it was different.

Zaiden Santos squinted his eyes, his gaze never leaving her.

When Ann Nolan turned her head, she t Zaiden Santos’s keen eyes.

Feeling the intense gaze in his eyes, she said indifferently, “It’s okay.”

“Don’t change. Put on a shawl, and I’ll take you out for a stroll,” Zaiden Santos stood up and said.

He opened the wardrobe door, and his slender fingers danced amongst the clothes.

After looking for a while, he picked out a white mink shawl.

“Pair it with this,” he said, draping it over her.

Ann Nolan looked at herself in the mirror. She usually wore black and white professional attire and hardly ever wore anything too flashy or bright except for parties and banquets.

“It’s raining outside, I don’t want to go out,” Ann Nolan refused.

She did not want to be with Zaiden Santos at all, not in the slightest.

Her hair was still a ss, so she combed it with a comb.

“I made plans to play billiards with so friends today. I’ll take you with , you’re quite good at it,” Zaiden Santos said nonchalantly.

Ann Nolan paused in combing her hair, and then chuckled, unable to help herself. He still rembered.

During college, she had only played with him once, and unsurprisingly, she had won.

Her family’s circumstances were not inferior to the Santos family’s; it was just that her parents had passed away early, and her family had fallen on hard tis.

She had been familiar with many gas since she was young, and coupled with her natural talents, beating Zaiden was not sothing unexpected.

Having beaten Zaiden once, Ann Nolan did not take it too much to heart.

However, it always gnawed at Zaiden Santos.

“I don’t want to play,” Ann Nolan flatly refused.

“Is it that you don’t want to play, or you can’t play anymore?” Zaiden Santos asked, watching her.

Ann Nolan’s eyes sparkled, and she gave Zaiden Santos a disdainful, indifferent glance, “Can’t play? Have you forgotten that I’ve beaten you?”

“I haven’t forgotten. I’ve always wanted to even the score,” Zaiden Santos said, gazing at her rosy cheeks, his deep eyes eting her bright, sparkling ones.

Ann Nolan looked back at him.

It seed like this was the first ti after their marriage that he had suggested taking her out for fun.

“Maybe so other ti, let’s talk about it when we have the chance,” Ann Nolan still rcilessly refused him.

Before they got a divorce, she did not want to have anything more to do with him; the fewer people who knew about their marriage, the better.

She also was not accustod to joining him in public places. She really did not know whether to act like a college friend or a wife.

Probably no one would believe that she, Ann Nolan, had married Zaiden Santos.
