“No, I’ve already had so today, and I don’t really feel like having more,” Ann Nolan didn’t bother explaining.
She had only had a sudden urge to drink soymilk today; she ntioned it casually, not expecting Zaiden Santos would actually go and buy it.
It was a bit unexpected for her.
“I need to go to the office now. If I’m any later, they’ll dock my attendance,” Ann Nolan took her bag from the servant’s hand.
Her foot was healed, but Zaiden Santos insisted on giving her a ride.

Ann Nolan didn’t wear high heels, standing beside Zaiden Santos she was much shorter than him.
“Aren’t you busy these days?” Ann Nolan asked lightly during the ride.
“I don’t have to travel for work recently. I can spare much more ti. I’ll pick you up from the office tonight and take you to the new restaurant opened by the Santos Family for a al,” he replied.
“No need, I want to spend so ti with Jasmine since she’s going abroad next month.”
“Then invite her along.”
“You might want to invite her, but she might not be willing to co,” Ann Nolan thought Zaiden was acting like a fool.
Why would Jasmine Yale co to be the third wheel, especially since she isn’t on good terms with Zaiden Santos?
This man, really is a fool.
“I’ve been away from Landon for a while, how are things between her and Mr. Cheney?” Zaiden Santos asked while driving.
“They’re not together anymore,” Ann Nolan, sitting in the passenger seat, had a look of confusion and uncertainty in her eyes.
The sunlight outside was just right, slanting onto the glass window.
Zaiden Santos was startled, puzzled, “Why?”
His eyes narrowed slightly behind his black sunglasses, gaze fixed on the road ahead, a look of bewildernt gleaming in his deep eyes.
“There aren’t so many whys. If they’re not together, they’re just not,” she said.
“What kind of statent is that? There has to be a reason,” Zaiden Santos was dissatisfied. “I think Mr. Cheney treated her quite well. At least I haven’t seen him have breakfast with any other girl or take one to an amusent park.”
Ann Nolan found it amusing.
“Is it really enough in your n’s hearts that you just have to treat a girl well? Zaiden Santos, are you actually stupid or just pretending?”
Zaiden Santos: “…”
“Mr. Cheney has a girlfriend now. I’ve heard she’s CEO Harry Yacob Harry’s only daughter, from a privileged family, and she herself is not bad either,” Ann Nolan said indifferently.
These things, she had heard from others; Jasmine Yale hadn’t told her.
She had seen Joan Harry before, a quiet and gentle young girl, beautiful and tender, speaking softly and gently.
But she had only seen her, never interacted with her.
“Yacob Harry?” Zaiden Santos’s brow furrowed. “He certainly held power alone before and is now in business. I heard a while back that he has a very outstanding daughter studying abroad, his only child.”

She was truly angry, rage flaring in her eyes.
Zaiden Santos looked innocent. What did he do? Had he said sothing wrong?
