She sat across from him, smiling sweetly at him.

“What are you looking at? Eat your breakfast,” Sylvan tapped her milk glass, “Drink up.”
“Mm, I want to drink your coffee,” Jasmine pointed at his cup, her face alight with a sweet, fresh smile.
When she smiled, her eyes curved like crescent moons, showing pearly white teeth.
Her eyelashes were long, her pupils sparkled.
Back then, her face was still a little baby-faced, rosy-cheeked with a healthy glow, sassy yet graceful.
