Yufei marched downstairs, fuming, only to find no one there.
She walked towards the exit, hoping there would also be no one in the garden, and no one at the gate!

“Get another pound of green peppers.”
“Scallions, ginger, garlic,” she added, and the Door God repeated each item after her.
