“Boss, they’ve arrived,” a subordinate reminded him.
Ruan Tianling turned around, his cold gaze landing on Qi Ruigang.
“Ruan Tianling, I’ve brought the person. Where’s the microchip?” Qi Ruigang cut straight to the chase.
Ruan Tianling’s lips curled slightly, a mocking smile forming.
It was ironic that he was using his own wife to negotiate with him.
“Qi Ruigang, it seems you don’t care about Miss Mo at all. How about this – sign the divorce agreent, and I’ll give you the microchip.”
Qi Ruigang narrowed his eyes, “Divorce agreent?”
Ruan Tianling extended a hand, and a subordinate handed him the prepared agreent.
He took a few steps forward with the agreent, “I’ve prepared everything for you. The terms are simple: Miss Mo leaves with nothing. What do you say?”
“You sure stick your nose in a lot of matters!” Qi Ruigang scoffed coldly.
Ruan Tianling chuckled: “This is Miss Mo’s wish, right?”
Mo Lan nodded hastily: “Yes, it’s my decision. It’s who asked Mr. Ruan for help.”
The hand Qi Ruigang had around Mo Lan’s wrist tightened.
Mo Lan t his gaze, “I am your wife! Yet now, you’re using as a bargaining chip. Qi Ruigang, if you are indeed a man, then divorce . If you don’t divorce , not even in death will I let you have the microchip!”
Qi Ruigang’s expression turned very dark: “Shut up. Right now, you’re in my hands, and I control whether you live or die!”
Mo Lan imdiately spoke to Ruan Tianling: “Mr. Ruan, I would rather die than let you trade for the microchip. If you insist on doing so, I will commit suicide. My word is my bond!”
“Mo Lan—” Qi Ruigang’s teeth clenched, he was truly filled with a murderous rage.
Mo Lan continued, “Mr. Ruan, I an it. Even if you give him the microchip and save , I will jump into the sea and kill myself imdiately!”
Qi Ruigang’s face turned an ashen hue, he really wanted to tear this woman apart.
She would rather die than let him get the microchip?
Her absolute ruthlessness made it hard for him to breathe.
“Mo Lan, don’t you f*cking forget, you’re the one who stole the microchip. It’s your responsibility to get it back for !”
Mo Lan scoffed coldly, “Get it back? And then what, continue to tornt ? As long as we’re not divorced, I will never be at peace. You’re not divorcing because you plan to use the law to take back after getting the microchip, right? Impossible, no way! Today, either we divorce, or you can forget about getting the microchip!”
Ruan Tianling slightly raised his eyebrows, he hadn’t expected Mo Lan to make such a choice.
Her deanor reminded him of Jian Yufei.
So stubborn, so ruthless, unafraid of death…
Ruan Tianling smiled faintly: “Miss Mo, if this is truly your wish, I will comply with your request.”
Mo Lan revealed a hint of a smile: “Thank you.”
Qi Ruigang’s gaze was dark and terrifying.
He spoke coldly: “What if I neither want to divorce nor give up the microchip?”
Mo Lan replied resolutely, “Don’t even think about it!”
Ruan Tianling’s voice was equally cold: “Qi Ruigang, do you really think I’d let you have your way?”
He had plenty of people on his side, and so were hidden in the shadows.
If it ca down to a fight, the one at a loss would only be Qi Ruigang.
Qi Ruigang seed to have realized this, as he sneered coldly, “Fine, a divorce then? Alright, I agree to sign.”
Mo Lan was montarily stunned, seemingly caught off guard by his swift agreent.
