Mo Lan nodded with a smile and sat down beside her.
Jian Yufei directly asked, "Did you just go see Qi Ruigang?"
"Yes. Mr. Ruan needs Qi Ruigang’s help, but Qi Ruigang refused. Instead, he demanded that I feed him his als every day, and only then would he consider Mr. Ruan’s proposal," Mo Lan confessed without hiding anything.
Jian Yufei asked in confusion, "What kind of help does Ruan Tianling need from Qi Ruigang?"

"I just want to help you defeat the bad guys as soon as possible," Mo Lan chuckled. "I’ll probably rely on you all for the rest of my life. We’re all on the sa side now, so your problems are my problems too."

"I understand. I truly chose this willingly. Please trust , okay?"
Seeing her sincere deanor and heartfelt words, Jian Yufei finally felt relieved.
Grasping Mo Lan’s hand, she smiled. "Alright, I believe you. But promise —you won’t let yourself be wronged or hurt anymore."
"Yufei, don’t worry. I’m no longer the Mo Lan I used to be. Qi Ruigang won’t have another chance to hurt ."
Jian Yufei realized Mo Lan had grown much stronger, and felt deeply comforted.
