Jian Yufei and the others still went out and bought a lot of ingredients.
She made millet porridge for Ruan Tianling. Carrying the porridge, Jian Yufei pushed the door open and walked into the room.
Ruan Tianling happened to be awake. When he saw her, he smiled and said, “I just had a dream.”
Jian Yufei placed the porridge on the bedside table and asked with a smile, “What kind of dream?”
“I dread that you were angry with and left with the child.”

“If you ever make angry in the future, I really might leave with the child,” she said deliberately.
Ruan Tianling took her hand and kissed it gently. “If you leave, rember to take with you.”
Jian Yufei couldn’t help but laugh.
“Have sothing to eat,” she said.
She helped him sit up and placed a soft pillow behind his back.
“Did you make this?” Ruan Tianling asked, slling the aroma of the porridge and smiling.
“Take a bite and see if you can tell,” Jian Yufei said, holding up the bowl and feeding him a spoonful of porridge.
After tasting it, Ruan Tianling declared confidently, “You definitely made it.”
“Wrong, Angela made it, not ,” Jian Yufei replied.
Angela was the temporary housekeeper they had hired.
Ruan Tianling refused to be fooled. “It was clearly you. I can tell as soon as I taste it.”
Everyone has a unique cooking style, and no matter what dish soone makes, their culinary traits are unmistakable.
Ruan Tianling was very familiar with Jian Yufei’s cooking, so he could recognize it right away.
Jian Yufei decided not to tease him anymore. “These days, you can only eat light food, nothing greasy. I made this porridge especially for you. How does it taste?”
Ruan Tianling nodded in appreciation. “It’s very special. What did you put in it?”
“Take a guess,” Jian Yufei said.
“Milk?”
The porridge was pure white, smooth, and carried a rich milk-like aroma. It was sweet and flavorful despite not having any salt, making it surprisingly not bland.
Jian Yufei smiled and said, “Not milk—soy milk.”
“Soy milk?”
Jian Yufei nodded and fed him another spoonful. “You mix freshly ground soy milk with rice, add a bit of water, and cook it together. That’s how you get this flavor.”
“Rember to make this for again in the future.”
“Alright.”
The porridge was so delicious that Ruan Tianling ate an entire bowl, leaving him feeling much more energized.
