Ansel seed very happy: "Daddy, ask the doctors to hurry up. I want to get better soon."
"Alright, I’ll push them to speed up."
"Daddy, can you hug ?" Ansel suddenly requested.
Ruan Tianling didn’t hesitate at all and stretched out his arms, "Co here."
Ansel happily leaped into his embrace, bumping into Ruan Tianling’s injury. Ruan Tianling’s face stiffened montarily but quickly masked his pain with a nonchalant expression.
He picked Ansel up and even let him ride on his shoulders.
Jian Yufei watched nervously from the side. He truly had no fear—despite his severe injuries, he dared to do sothing so physically demanding.
"Be careful, don’t fall off." She stepped forward to steady both of them.
Ruan Tianling smiled lightly and said, "It’s fine, don’t worry."
How could she possibly not worry? Ansel wasn’t exactly light. Carrying him must definitely aggravate his injury.
"Alright, Ansel, co down quickly. Mommy wants to hold you. Hurry up and co down."
Jian Yufei stood on her tiptoes to carefully lift him off, while shooting a discreet glare at Ruan Tianling.
"Mommy, I want to brush my teeth. I haven’t brushed them in days," Ansel said, wrapping his arms around her neck.
"Okay, let’s go brush them." She carried him toward the bathroom, not sparing a glance as she addressed Ruan Tianling.
"The ti is almost up, Ruan Tianling. You should get back to your work."
Ruan Tianling had intended to follow them, but hearing her words, he could only leave reluctantly.
Just earlier, his wound had indeed reopened. If he stayed, he wouldn’t be able to remain standing.
Jian Yufei helped Ansel brush his teeth and bathe. Wrapping him in a towel, she carried him back to the bedroom.
After setting him down, she started searching for clean pajamas.
Ansel, awake for less than half an hour, already felt sleepy again.
Jian Yufei walked over to him, took out a voice recorder, and shielded it with her hand as she placed it near his lips.
"Ansel, are you very sleepy?"

Jian Yufei leaned down and kissed his forehead. "Mommy kissed you—does that make you feel better?"
Ansel nodded and pulled out a faint smile: "I feel much better..."
"Sweetheart, when you’re all better, Mommy will take you to the amusent park. How does that sound?"
"Okay..."
Almost every question she asked, Ansel answered.
Jian Yufei put down the voice recorder and finally grabbed the pajamas to dress him.
"If you’re sleepy, go to sleep. Mommy promises you, the next ti you wake up, your body will be all better."
"Really?" The little guy seed to wake up a bit, his eyes glittering with anticipation.
"Really." Jian Yufei nodded with a smile.
Only then did Ansel relax and drift off to sleep, content and reassured.
Jian Yufei dressed him, adjusted his position, and pulled the blanket over his little body.
"Sweetheart, Mommy promises you, I’ll make sure you get all better." She leaned down and kissed his forehead, her determination solidifying in her heart.

Over the next two days, Jian Yufei devoted herself to taking care of Ruan Tianling and Ansel.
Ruan Tianling’s injuries healed quickly, and he was already able to walk around normally.
Moreover, he could also eat regular als, though they had to be light and bland.
