Jian Yufei spoke word by word.
A small figure squatted in front of her, and Jian Yufei looked up to et Junqi’s expression.
( ⊙o⊙?)
Jian Yufei: "..."
She was in pain here, yet he was so naive and clueless.
Jian Yufei was influenced by his deanor, and she didn’t feel so bad anymore.
"As long as you don’t feel sad or wronged, that’s good." She said with a smile.
The most important thing is the mindset.
Junqi had a very good attitude and hadn’t developed any negative emotions, which was sothing Jian Yufei was grateful for.
Worried that more wolves might co, Jian Yufei urged Junqi to continue their journey.
The little guy probably didn’t know what fear was, as he seriously piled the three wolves together, intending to drag them all along.
Jian Yufei was impressed by him, this kid is definitely a foodie!
"Forget it, let’s go quickly." If they didn’t leave, they would beco the wolves’ dinner.
Junqi stubbornly clung to the wolves’ legs, unwilling to let go, as they were his feast, and he couldn’t bear to abandon them.
The campfire was still burning.
Jian Yufei suddenly noticed there were bloodstains on his arm, and she quickly squatted down beside him.
"Are you hurt?" She asked nervously.
Junqi was still pulling his feast, heading towards the campfire.
He still wanted to roast and eat them—
Jian Yufei rummaged through her backpack and quickly grabbed his hand.
The little guy imdiately turned fierce, baring his teeth at her.
Jian Yufei quickly released his hand, "Don’t be afraid, I won’t hurt you. I’ll treat your wound."
She pointed to his bleeding arm.
Junqi cald down, and Jian Yufei carefully reached out her hand; he was on full alert again.
Jian Yufei kept reassuring him, and after much persuasion, he finally allowed her to touch his hand.
Jian Yufei rolled up his sleeve and found a scratch on his fair arm.
Although it wasn’t very deep, it had bled quite a bit.
Jian Yufei gently treated his wound while helplessly saying, "Don’t you feel pain when you’re injured? Also, I’m your mom, don’t be so defensive against , I won’t hurt you."
Junqi quietly let her bandage him.
Jian Yufei carefully tended to his wound, then checked the rest of him, finding him otherwise unhard.
Since Junqi insisted on not leaving, and traveling at night was indeed dangerous, Jian Yufei had no choice but to stay.
However, she spent the whole night dealing with wolf at, exhausting herself completely.
Fortunately, no wild wolves showed up that night.
Little did she know, these few wolves were specifically let out.
Other than these few, there were no more wolves in the forest.
...
Morning ca quickly, and Jian Yufei and Junqi ate so wolf at and continued their journey.
In the following ti, although they occasionally encountered so poisonous snakes or unfamiliar animals, there was no major danger.
When they ca in yesterday morning, Jian Yufei thought Junqi needed her protection.
As it turned out, the one who was constantly being protected was her.
Junqi traversed the forest as if he were walking on a bustling street, unimpeded.
He could easily handle certain dangers as well.
They had trained her child to be very strong, yet Jian Yufei couldn’t find any joy in that.
Walking and stopping, when they finally erged from the forest, Jian Yufei felt as though she was about to collapse.
...
On the morning of the third day, they finally walked out of the forest.
Ahead of them was an endless blue ocean.
And a golden, fine sand beach.
Jian Yufei ran towards the ocean, and joyfully washed her face and feet.
Junqi directly dove into the sea, swimming and bathing like a little dog.
