She silently cursed, taking quick steps forward to snatch back the proposal.
“What are you doing rummaging through my things?!” Li Mingxi said displeased, hoping he hadn’t seen Jian Yufei’s na, otherwise he would know everything.
Just as Li Mingxi thought that, Xiao Lang stood up, pursing his lips and asked in a low voice, “Yufei has leukemia?!”

“Can it be cured?” Xiao Lang asked hopefully.
Li Mingxi shook her head, “I don’t know, it’s still under research, she just got sick, maybe it can be cured…”
She said these untruthful words, just to avoid making him more upset.
Xiao Lang ca around to stand in front of her, he grasped her shoulders, Li Mingxi lifted her eyes to et his dark ones.
“You can cure her, right? I was poisoned, all the doctors were at a loss, but you still cured , so you can cure her too, right?”
Li Mingxi spoke honestly, “I’m not sure, don’t place too much hope on .”
“But you cured my illness…”
“The situations are different! You were not in any life-threatening condition, I had enough ti to treat you. Jian Yufei’s condition is different, her illness will keep worsening, ti is limited, I don’t necessarily have ti to cure her. But maybe it can be cured quickly, leukemia can be treated now, don’t worry too much.”
Xiao Lang asked calmly, “She needs a bone marrow transplant, right?”
A bone marrow transplant is ineffective…
“Yes, we’re currently looking for a fully matched bone marrow. If we find it, maybe she can be cured.” Li Mingxi nodded.
Xiao Lang said, “Let know if anything happens, and if you need my help, just say the word.”
“I will.”

“Wait.” Li Mingxi called after him, “Weren’t you here for a check-up? You’re leaving without it?”

“No need, I’m fine.” With that, he turned and left.
