Capítulo 1973: Chapter 1973: Jian Yufei’s Palm Was Cut Open
Junqi shook his head and took a few steps back, distancing himself from him.
Jian Yufei noticed the white mask on Junqi’s face, and her expression changed slightly.
“Where did he get the mask from?!” she asked in astonishnt.
Ansel saw her co in, and a look of guilt flashed across his face.
“Mommy, it’s my fault. Yesterday, my brother and I were watching TV and I noticed he was very interested in the masks on TV. So today, I got soone to buy one to give to him. But once he put it on, he wouldn’t take it off. It’s been hours already…”
Jian Yufei stepped forward to comfort him, “Don’t be upset, it’s not your fault. You were just trying to do sothing nice for your brother.”
“No, it’s all my fault. I knew about his past, yet I still bought him a mask. Mommy, did I ss up again?” Ansel felt a bit uneasy and guilty.
In truth, he felt sorry for his brother, and he didn’t want to see him yearning for the mask, so he softened for a mont and decided to indulge him.
But once Junqi put it on, he had no intention of taking it off, and only then did he realize how serious it was.
Jian Yufei smiled slightly, “No, it’s just a mask, it’s okay. Don’t think of it as such a big deal, it’s no big deal.”
“But what if he doesn’t take it off?”
“He will take it off.”
Jian Yufei turned to Junqi, squatting down in front of him, gently coaxing, “Sweetheart, can you let Mommy see the mask?”
She pointed at the mask, and Junqi roughly understood what she ant.
He shook his head, his dark eyes looking at her innocently, making Jian Yufei reluctant to upset him.
But Junqi was too obsessed with the mask, and he needed to break this habit.
“Junqi, not even for Mommy?”
Ansel translated on the side, Junqi hesitated, then shook his head with difficulty. It seed he wasn’t so obsessed with the mask that he would never take it off.
Jian Yufei persisted, “Just let Mommy see it, Mommy will give it back to you.”

Jian Yufei smiled and reached out to him, “Sweetheart, Mommy really just wants to take a look, believe , I’ll give it back to you once I have a look, okay?”

“I told you not to take off the mask, take it off and I’ll beat you to death!”
Then, slaps and punches rained down—
Junqi let out a sharp scream, suddenly snatching back the mask, baring his teeth at Jian Yufei fiercely!
“Mommy!” Ansel also scread.
Because the thin edge of the mask had cut Jian Yufei’s palm.
Blood continuously dripped from her palm to the ground—
Junqi also saw the blood on the ground, and his expression suddenly turned blank and dumbfounded.
Jian Yufei quickly clenched her hand, smiling as if nothing was wrong, “It’s okay, just a little cut, don’t worry. Mommy’s fine.”
Ansel quickly found so tissues, pulled her hand over, and pressed it to her wound.
“Mommy, co on, we need to go to the hospital!” the little guy said anxiously, tugging her along.
Jian Yufei didn’t want to scare them, “Ansel, Mommy is really fine, it’s just a small cut. Go and get the first aid kit. Mommy will just put on a band-aid and it’ll be fine.”
“Mommy, no, you have to go to the hospital!”
