After hanging up the phone, Jian Yufei went to find Ruan Tianling and told him about Li Mingxi’s plan to go to Thailand as well.

Li Mingxi sat in the backseat of the car, while Awei was in the front.
Awei greeted her with a smile, “Hello, Miss Li. I’m Awei. If you need anything, feel free to let know.”
“Hello.” Li Mingxi smiled back, though she was thinking about how she could deceive everyone with such a capable follower sent by Ruan Tianling.
Just then, her phone rang. It was a call from Xiao Lang.
Seeing the two characters flashing on the phone screen, Li Mingxi’s face stiffened slightly.
Her thoughts drifted back to a few days ago.

On the night of Jian Yufei’s wedding, she got into Zhou Jiawei’s car and left.
Zhou Jiawei invited her out for drinks, and she went. They reminisced for hours at the bar until it was very late before leaving.
Zhou Jiawei took her back to her apartnt. When they arrived, she was a little drunk, and Zhou Jiawei insisted on seeing her upstairs, but Xiao Lang suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
He pulled her away and coldly said to Zhou Jiawei, “I’ll take her up. You should leave.”
Zhou Jiawei looked at the man before him, displeased, and asked, “Who are you?”
Li Mingxi also stared at Xiao Lang, frowning in confusion, “What are you doing here?”
Xiao Lang, pursing his lips, said to her, “Next ti you’re alone with a man, don’t get so drunk.”
Li Mingxi wanted to say, “It’s none of your business!”
But she was accustod to being good to him and habitually avoided speaking harshly, so she didn’t say it.
Zhou Jiawei, standing at the side, was unhappy. “Who exactly are you?!”
He asked Li Mingxi again, “Mingxi, with him you…”
“I have nothing to do with him!” Li Mingxi quickly denied.
Xiao Lang smiled lightly and said, “Mingxi and I are friends.”
“Friends? I’m also Mingxi’s friend, and her future boyfriend. You can leave now, and I’ll take care of Mingxi,” Zhou Jiawei said bluntly, sensing that this man might beco his rival.
He stepped forward to pull Li Mingxi over, but Xiao Lang directly wrapped his arm around her shoulder, turned, and headed toward the community.
“I’ll take care of her. You can go,” Xiao Lang said without looking back.
What was he doing?
Li Mingxi, dazed and confused, was led by him into the community. The security guard recognized Xiao Lang, so he didn’t stop them.
The security guard always assud that Xiao Lang was Li Mingxi’s boyfriend, so naturally, he wouldn’t intercept them.
But when Zhou Jiawei tried to follow them in, he was stopped by the security guard.
There was no way Zhou Jiawei could just leave, though; he couldn’t trust Mingxi with another man.
He called out Li Mingxi’s na, and Li Mingxi turned around, telling the guard to let him in, so Zhou Jiawei was able to enter.
And then the three of them entered Li Mingxi’s ho.
