Capítulo 2021: Chapter 2021: Soone Is Controlling the Snakes
“Where did the snakes co from?!” Awei shielded Li Mingxi, pulling out his gun and shooting off the head of the largest snake.
“Damn it, they really are liars; sooner or later I’ll kill them!” Awei growled angrily.
Though so snakes were killed, the others were fearless, flicking their tongues as they continued crawling toward them!
This ti, Awei had only brought four subordinates to the eting. Two stayed outside to guard, and only two ca along inside.
Those two also pulled out their guns, hitting a few snakes.
But snakes kept crawling in from the doorway, their numbers increasing…
Li Mingxi’s face changed slightly: “These snakes are poisonous, everyone be careful, don’t get bitten!”
Awei and his n protected her as they retreated to a corner.
There were too many snakes, and their bullets simply weren’t enough!
If this continued, once their bullets ran out, they’d have no weapons for self-defense.
Awei and his n grabbed chairs and simply started smashing them!
Li Mingxi said, “This isn’t going to work, set a fire, burn this place!”
The tablecloth was torn down and set ablaze—
The burning tablecloth was thrown into the pile of snakes; so writhed painfully to avoid it, so began to retreat. Seeing it was effective, they took off their jackets, set them on fire, and tossed them into the snake pile.
The snakes showed signs of retreat, but suddenly a whistling sound was heard, and the snakes that had intended to back off beca active again, continuing their assault.
Soone outside was controlling the snakes—
Li Mingxi grabbed a vase and smashed it at the closest snakes!
Awei took the opportunity to call and notify his n outside; they wanted to co in and rescue them, but there were snakes outside too, preventing their entry.
And calling the police was simply impossible; with guns in hand, they’d only be arrested if they called.
So they could only resolve these matters themselves.
Awei said, “In a mont, we’ll carve our way out. Miss Li, you must leave quickly, we’ll handle the aftermath for you!”
“It’s useless!” Li Mingxi said, “This ti we were careless, there must be an ambush outside, even if I get out, I won’t escape!”
Awei’s face turned grim: “Then what do we do?”
