Hua Zhongsheng didn’t introduce Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling’s nas.

Father Matthew, having t countless people, could see they were unusual.

He smiled knowingly, "Since you’re friends of Ben, feel free to explore. There is a library inside the church; you can check it out as well."

"The library here is quite excellent; I recomnd you take a look," Hua Zhongsheng also suggested.

It seed they couldn’t avoid going.

Hua Zhongsheng and Father Matthew surely needed so ti together.

Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling didn’t disturb them and went to explore the church on their own.

After a round of exploration, Jian Yufei wanted to check out the library, and Ruan Tianling didn’t mind.

...

Hand in hand, they walked to the library entrance, and Ruan Tianling reached out to push open the heavy wooden door.

Seeing the inside, Jian Yufei exclaid in delight.

"What a beautiful library—"

The library, though not large, was indeed very beautiful.

In the middle was a spacious hall, with a spiral wooden staircase leading upstairs.

Each level had walls lined with bookshelves, totaling three stories.

The central hall was open from the ground up, and the third-floor ceiling had skylights, with light pouring down, dreamlike and elegant.

Jian Yufei had only seen a study with bookshelves on all four walls.

This was the first ti seeing a three-story open space full of bookshelves.

Ruan Tianling was also very surprised.

He hadn’t expected such a beautiful library inside a church.

"No wonder they recomnded we take a look. I’d regret it to death if I missed this."

Jian Yufei walked in, inhaling the rich scent of books, feeling her spirit cleansed.

Ruan Tianling remarked with a smile, "This library is quite similar to the Handelingenkar in the Netherlands."

"What’s that?" Jian Yufei didn’t understand what he said.

"It’s the most beautiful library in the world. I’ll take you to see it soday."

"Sure, I must see it." She wouldn’t miss the beauty of the world.

As they were touring, a boy in his teens walked in. He was Matthew’s apprentice, nad Allen.

He ca at Matthew’s behest to entertain them.

Allen was very shy but not introverted.

He introduced the history of the library to them, then pulled out a very thick book from a bookshelf on the first floor.

The book was genuinely thick, 20 centiters in depth, with length and width at 40 centiters.

It was a very large book, and Allen used much effort just to carry it and place it on the table.

"What is this?" Jian Yufei asked.

Allen could speak so Chinese. He smiled and said, "This is the guestbook. Whenever soone holds a wedding here or people of special status visit, we invite them to leave a ssage."

"Really? Let see." Jian Yufei said, smiling with delight.

Allen opened the hardcover book, and the first page was signed by soone Jian Yufei didn’t recognize.

Allen explained that this was a ssage from their first-ever Father.

Jian Yufei couldn’t read English, but the beautiful quill-written script was very pleasing to the eye.

Sure enough, as Allen said, the ssages were from newlyweds who had ceremonies here.

There were also so notable figures.

Such as politicians, writers, or celebrities.

There were even famous painters.

The artist’s ssages were unique, often just a simple drawing followed by their signature.

So poets even wrote poems in it.

Never would they have thought the library housed such an interesting item.
