They entered the bar, and Ruan Tianling gave a look to the lady boss, who understood imdiately and had a bartender lead them to exit through the back door.
Exiting the bar’s back door was a rundown, narrow alleyway.
The two walked along the alley for a bit when suddenly three policen appeared in front of them.
"Don’t move, raise your hands!" the three policen pointed their guns at them.
Ruan Tianling slowly raised his hands, and Jian Yufei raised hers too.
The three policen cautiously approached them, but as soon as they got close, Ruan Tianling suddenly kicked, knocking the first cop down, and the other two were pressed down.
Before they could react, Ruan Tianling had already rushed in and knocked out two of them with his fists.
The other policeman quickly fired a shot into the sky.
Ruan Tianling angrily knocked him out.
The gunshot attracted a large number of police officers, just from the footsteps you could tell there were many.
Ruan Tianling pulled Jian Yufei over, letting her hide in a trash bin, instructing her, "Stay here, I’ll co back for you soon."
Just as he closed the lid, he saw a large number of police appear.
Ruan Tianling turned and ran back, the police assuming he was alone, imdiately chased him.
However, two policen stayed behind to assist the unconscious three policen.
They were outside chattering in a language Jian Yufei couldn’t understand.
Jian Yufei squatted cautiously, worried about Ruan Tianling’s safety.
If she had known coming to C Country would bring such unforeseen disaster, she wouldn’t have co.
As Jian Yufei was thinking this, suddenly sothing furry crawled onto her leg.
"Ah—" Jian Yufei let out a sharp scream, startling the policen outside.
"Who is it, co out!"

Jian Yufei was extrely annoyed, but she was really scared of rats, those things were even more terrifying than snakes.
Now that she was exposed, continuing to hide was not an option.
Jian Yufei said in English, "Don’t shoot, I’m not a bad person."
She pushed open the lid, raised her hands, and slowly stood up.

She didn’t know much English otherwise, but words like shoot and kill she was very familiar with.
Because the people she was around always had those words on the tip of their tongues.
Jian Yufei got out of the trash bin quickly, the spot on her leg where the rat had crawled still made her skin crawl.
The policen looked at her wearing n’s clothes, pointed their guns at her, and asked warily, "Who are you?"
"I’m a woman."

Jian Yufei realized she misspoke, quickly corrected, "I’m a good person."
"..."
She hurriedly corrected again, "I’m a passerby!"
"Haha—" Suddenly, a woman’s laughter ca from sowhere.
The policen imdiately pointed their guns in the direction of the sound, "Who is it, co out!"
Whiz—whiz—
Suddenly, two stones flew over, hitting two policen’s wrists, causing them pain and dropping the guns to the ground.
