Jian Yufei chuckled, not feeling her actions were cruel at all.
Actually, Mi Sha was just joking; they both needed Hua Yuan to save them, so how could they really do anything to him.

Since they couldn’t et Hua Yuan for the ti being, they could only stay in the villa and not go out.

The good thing about the news in C Country is that it ca with English subtitles, so even if you didn’t understand the language, you could still comprehend the content just by reading the subtitles.
Ruan Tianling couldn’t go out to learn what’s happening, so he could only watch the news.
The news reported that the funeral for the Grand Prince would be held tomorrow, and the face of the King appeared on TV; he looked very mournful.
Suddenly, Ruan Tianling saw Laffey’s face.
Unexpectedly, she turned out to be a Princess.
Jian Yufei laughed and said, “That Princess is quite pretty, isn’t she?”
Ruan Tianling frowned, “Why are you asking ?!”
His reaction was sowhat strong, causing Jian Yufei to look at him puzzled.
Ruan Tianling softened his expression and smiled, “I think I need to confess sothing to you.”
“What is it?” Jian Yufei sat up straight.
Ruan Tianling pointed to Laffey on the TV and said, “I’ve t that woman before.”
Jian Yufei squinted slightly, “When was this?”
“Just yesterday.”
Ruan Tianling had no choice but to tell Jian Yufei everything.
After listening, Jian Yufei showed a half-smile, “Not bad, having an encounter while running for your life. Laffey, huh? That’s a nice na, isn’t it?”
Ruan Tianling quickly held her hand and swore, “Honey, you have to believe , I have no feelings for her at all! Besides, the na ‘Feifei’ sounds best only when it refers to you.”
“Do you think she fancies you?” Jian Yufei asked again.
Ruan Tianling said, “I think that woman has issues; she might act that way towards any man she sees.”
“How could that be? You’re so attractive, she probably genuinely likes you. She’s a Princess after all, if you get together with her, you’d beco C Country’s Consort.”

Ruan Tianling’s mouth twitched, “I was just afraid you’d overthink if I told you. Don’t you know how I feel about you? Even if the Empress fancied , I wouldn’t care less.”
Jian Yufei naturally knew he had no interest in Laffey.
But nothing’s certain, so it’s best to let him know to steer clear of all won, or the consequences could be severe.
However, Jian Yufei decided to let the matter go.
“Still doubting ? Don’t be upset, I didn’t tell you yesterday because I was afraid you’d overthink.” Ruan Tianling hugged her, rubbing his face against her neck.
Jian Yufei chuckled, pushing his head away, “Alright, I’m not upset anymore. But next ti you see that Princess, don’t forget what to do.”
“Next ti? I never want to see her again in this lifeti.”
That Princess was too obsessed; he’d rather respectfully decline.
Jian Yufei was satisfied with his attitude.
Even though she’s a Princess who could clear their nas, she wouldn’t let Ruan Tianling seek her help.
