"I had lunch with Mo Lan, then went shopping and bought so things. I bought you a few shirts, take a look."
Jian Yufei picked up the shirts from the sofa and handed them to him.
Ruan Tianling saw her natural expression, showing nothing unusual, and hesitated a little.
Actually, the man who was with Daisy during the day was him.
However, he was wearing a mask and had disguised himself.
He was a bit surprised to see her and Mo Lan at the restaurant.
Ruan Tianling was torn about whether to tell her the truth.
He would be in contact with Daisy for a while longer. If he told her the truth, she might know too much and overthink it.
Ruan Tianling thought it would be better to tell her once everything was resolved.
He happily picked up a shirt and chose one, "I’ll wear this one tomorrow."
"Okay." Jian Yufei smiled even more happily than he did.
Ruan Tianling continued, "It shouldn’t be long before things are resolved. Then we can fully deal with Nangong Xu."
"Don’t rush, take care of yourself," Jian Yufei expressed her concern.
Ruan Tianling nodded, "I know."
"Are you going to work in the study? Go ahead, I’ll make you so tea, and you should get to bed early."
Ruan Tianling held her hand and smiled gently, "I’m not doing anything today. Let keep you company."
"Then go rest." Jian Yufei worried he wasn’t getting enough sleep and was working too hard.
Ruan Tianling took her hand and stood up, heading towards the grand piano in the corner.
The piano had been there, almost like a piece of decoration, never really used.
Ruan Tianling gently guided her to sit down and then uncovered the white cloth on the piano.
"Let’s play so music." He sat beside her and opened the keyboard cover.
It had been a long ti since they played the piano together.
Jian Yufei placed her fingers on the black and white keys, a smile on her lips, "What shall we play?"
Ruan Tianling placed his long fingers on the keys as well.
"What do you think?"
The two of them exchanged smiles and started playing together.
Their coordination was seamless, and the lodious notes of "Sumr Whisper" resonated throughout the living room.

The next day, Ruan Tianling, as usual, left early in the morning.
However, in the evening, he called to say he would be away for a few days and wouldn’t be coming back.
Jian Yufei didn’t ask much, only reminding him to rest and take care of himself.
With Ruan Tianling not at ho, Jian Yufei spent her days talking with her father and playing chess.
Then Mi Sha suddenly returned.
Since they had returned to London, Mi Sha had disappeared.
She was very capable, so no one worried despite her absence.
But Jian Yufei was still concerned, "Where have you been? How could you leave without letting anyone know?"
Mi Sha took a large sip of the water handed to her by a servant.
"I had so things to handle. By the way, where is Ruan Tianling?"
She didn’t want to say more, so Jian Yufei wisely refrained from asking further.
"He has so matters to attend to and will be away for a few days."
"Nangong Xu’s move has really thrown him for a loop," Mi Sha said with a laugh.
"You know about it?"
"I’m in London, how could I not know?"
Jian Yufei was also distressed, "Yes, he’s using the governnt’s power against us, and Ruan Tianling dares not confront a whole country head-on."
Even if they had the capability to confront them directly, they couldn’t.
Their goal wasn’t to be a threat to societal harmony; they just wanted to deal with Nangong Xu.
Yet, Nangong Xu was using state power against them, forcing them to brace themselves to tackle it.
