Jian Yufei waited anxiously for news to co out.
Ruan Tianling’s people went to inquire, and it seems that sothing did happen in the castle, but the news is sealed off, so no one knows what happened.

She didn’t know if Carrie managed to get the ssage inside or if her mother had a way to rescue her father.
Jian Yufei was so focused on this matter that she hadn’t eaten all day and appeared very anxious and distressed.
Suddenly, the phone rang, and Jian Yufei was startled.
She quickly answered the call: "Hello, who is this?!"
"Yufei, it’s , I’m your mom."
Jian Yufei was taken aback. This unfamiliar voice, slightly hoarse yet very pleasant, was her mother’s voice?
No, her mother had long been unable to speak.
"Yufei, it really is . I can speak now. Don’t worry, your father is fine for now, and I’ll protect him."
"Dad is okay?" Jian Yufei was caught off guard by the sudden joy.
Nangong Ruyue smiled: "Yes, he’s fine."
"Mom, is it really you?! You can speak?!" This was Jian Yufei’s second mont of astonishnt.
Initially, she had so doubts, fearing that Nangong Xu had deliberately had soone impersonate Nangong Ruyue to call her.
But her intuition quickly told her that this voice was truly her mother’s!
Only her mother’s voice was so kind, making people let down all their defenses.
"Mom, how can you speak? And what exactly happened?" Jian Yufei couldn’t wait to ask.
Nangong Ruyue briefly explained the situation to her, leaving Jian Yufei silent.
"Yufei, right now your father is okay, so don’t worry too much. I’ll think of a way to get him out, but I have to go, soone is coming."
Nangong Ruyue hung up the phone as a servant ca in and saw she was still awake, offering more reassurance.
Jian Yufei, after finishing the call with her mother, quickly called Ruan Tianling.

Jian Yufei went to brew a pot of tea and placed it on the coffee table.
Ruan Tianling stepped into the living room with his tall and handso figure.
Seeing him enter, Jian Yufei lifted her face, a small smile of happiness spreading across her features.
"Co have so tea!" She picked up the teapot and poured two cups.
The fragrance of the tea made Ruan Tianling feel relaxed and at ease.
He settled beside her, habitually wrapping his arm around her waist.
Jian Yufei said happily, "Mom said dad is okay now. I’m so glad I had Carrie bring in the pills Grandpa Hua developed."
Ruan Tianling replied with a smile, "The remaining issue is getting your father and mother out. But I’m worried Nangong Xu might not be dead yet."
"He hasn’t been saved yet, so there’s probably little chance," Jian Yufei hoped he would die soon.
Him living another minute posed a threat to them all.
Ruan Tianling didn’t think so: "If he was going to die, he would have died already. No need for such prolonged rescue efforts. But even if he’s still alive, I doubt he’s well."
"No, it’s better if he dies," Jian Yufei said sullenly.
If he died, they would all be safe, and there would be no fear of being pursued.
If he’s not dead, their future would likely be even tougher.
This is what both Jian Yufei and Ruan Tianling thought, and Nangong Ruyue felt the sa way.
