Ansel was clever and understood imdiately when he heard this.

Ansel shook Jian Yufei’s arm: "Mommy, Daddy is bullying us."
Jian Yufei chuckled: "I’ll deal with him later."
"Mommy, you’re the best." Ansel grinned so widely his eyes turned into slits.
Cu Haoyan spoke up for Ruan Tianling: "Your daddy is doing it for your own good. Your status is different, so the bad people you encounter are naturally not ordinary bad people. He wants you to know that you still don’t have the full ability to protect yourselves."
Ansel nodded earnestly: "Uncle Cu, I understand."

Back at the villa.
Jian Yufei asked them to call their grandparents to let them know they were safe, and then took them to eat.
The servants served the freshly prepared dishes on the table—
The food was kept warm the whole ti.
As soon as it was served, Junqi grabbed a fork and spoon, eating with both hands.
Ansel couldn’t be bothered with manners and ate in big mouthfuls too.

"Didn’t you eat anything during the day?"
"I did... only snacks."

Jian Yufei pretended to put on a stern face: "See if you dare to go out alone next ti!"
"Mommy, I won’t dare anymore."

The two brothers were both hungry and tired.

He didn’t want anyone else to see him undressed.

Junqi had no such concerns and sat obediently while Mommy took off his clothes.
When Jian Yufei turned with Junqi in her arms, Ansel was already sitting in the bathtub, bare-bottod.

Jian Yufei placed Junqi in the tub too and quickly soaped them up and rinsed them off.
After a lot of fuss, they were finally clean.
The two little ones climbed into bed and soon fell asleep with their bottoms in the air.
