The shackles imprisoned her freedom, her soul, and she was on the verge of a breakdown.
Mo Lan wanted to resist, but she just stood there motionless.
Her eyes were vacant, staring blankly at so distant place.
Qi Ruigang frowned, "Who are you trying to put on that act for?"
Mo Lan couldn’t even be bothered to speak, standing there soullessly.
In the past, when he tornted her, her only way to escape the pain was to sink into despair, numbing herself with silence.
Later, she saw hope; soone was willing to help her.
Even though that help couldn’t save her from deep water and scorching fire, she still saw a glimr of hope.
She was like a stranded fish, desperately wriggling to jump into the water.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard she tried, she was still on the shore, waiting to suffocate slowly.
Her last strength was exhausted, and now, she was left with only silence and despair again.
Qi Ruigang couldn’t stand her look of despair.
He strode forward, wrapping his strong arms around her waist from behind.
His burning chest pressed tightly against her back.
"I’m off today, stay at ho with for a day." He whispered ambiguously in her ear.
It wasn’t a question; he had already made the decision for her.
"Let go, I want to rest." Mo Lan struggled indifferently, and Qi Ruigang’s other arm wrapped directly around her chest.
The soft mound in front of her was pushed high, and Qi Ruigang looked down, seeing the scenery beneath her collar.
His gaze darkened—
"I rember, your period just ended, right?" he asked out of nowhere.
Mo Lan imdiately beca alert, "It hasn’t ended yet!"
"Really? Let check." With that, his hand moved downward.
Mo Lan struggled in sha and anger: "Don’t go too far!"
This was still the living room; the servants could see his actions at any ti.
Qi Ruigang didn’t care much about that, and no servant dared to look anyway.
His hand touched beneath her pants with a bit of force, and Mo Lan bit her lip, fiercely stomping on his instep!
Qi Ruigang withdrew his hand in pain, yet his face was full of amusent: "Not honest at all, you’re getting better at lying now."
"What if I lied, what’s it to you?!" Mo Lan struggled hard and finally broke free of his grip.
She imdiately ran to the side, afraid he would catch her again.
Qi Ruigang smiled wickedly, his eyes gleaming greenly at her as if he wanted to devour her.
Mo Lan feared him.
She turned and ran upstairs, wanting to shut the door and be alone.
She moved quickly, afraid Qi Ruigang would catch up to her.
Once inside the bedroom, Mo Lan locked the door and finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Every day, she guarded against him like a wolf; living like this was so exhausting.
Mo Lan relaxed, walked to the bed, sat down, and leaned over, hugging a pillow in a daze.
Although Qi Ruigang no longer tornted her.
She still couldn’t accept his domineering nature.
In the past, she thought of ways every day to escape his corporal punishnt.
Now, she thought of ways every day to avoid his infringent.
If only he wouldn’t violate her, she could still cope with living this way.
But he would die without lusting for a day; she truly despised it!
