Peeling my eyes open, my heart pounded heavily as I sat up instantly. Relief filled as I could move my body.
I wasn’t numb anymore... I could move my body and speak. I was still breathing heavily, fear knotting my insides at the thought of what the alphas were going to do to .

Images of how injured Dylan was flashed in my head and I shivered. Only goddess understands the enmity between them.

I was still in the room when I heard footsteps approaching, imdiately I forced myself back to the bed, shutting my eyes tightly.
"Alpha... Alpha Kushiro feels humiliated, he is furious and he made remarks about cutting ties with our pack and stopping our products from entering his pack." I heard the beta’s voice.
"Okay." Alpha Thor muttered and silence followed. It seed like they had passed my room and I heaved a sigh of relief although I didn’t rejoice too soon.
"So officially is the wedding canceled? Should I release a statent?" Nikolai asked.
"No, tell him the wedding is canceled and let him release the statent himself, the pack has far better things to focus on." Alpha Ryker replied and I shut my eyes.
It dawned on that the wedding didn’t happen... Did they cancel it because of ? Did they miss their wedding just to rescue ?
Thinking about it only made my heart race faster as my fears rose, only the goddess knew the kind of grave trouble I was in.

I began to sweat, I thought both alphas coming into the room to read out everything I caused was overwhelming and I felt my chest closing up slowly.
I was finding it hard to breath and hearing the doorknob turn, I shut my eyes as I pretended to be asleep.
Deep down, I was filled with fright, my body was drenched in sweat, my hands were covered with goosebumps and it took a lot of strength to stop my legs and hands from trembling.
"Should I get the doctor?" Nikolai asked.
"No, she’s fine." Alpha Ryker replied like he had been in the room with minutes ago.
"The council has summoned you and Alpha Thor, it’s because of Dylan who has complained to the council that you took his mate away... The council might ask her to choose between her mate and remaining a slave..."
A growl erupted the conversation and I could feel a penetrative gaze on . It burned my skin, it felt like a pair of magnifying glasses were on , checking and accessing slowly.
I held my breath, wishing they’d go out as soon as possible, hoping I’d be alive by the ti they left.

I heard footsteps approaching and I fell to the bed, shutting my eyes tightly but a sweet aroma wafted in the room as the door shut seconds later.
I opened my eyes slowly to see a tray filled with food, my stomach grumbled at that mont. Without concern about being caught, I grabbed the tray, moaning softly as the sweet aroma filled my nostrils.
It felt like my last supper and hastily, I dug in, eating like a ravenous wolf, eating as fat as possible and by the ti I was done, I felt bloated.
I inhaled deeply, panting heavily as I stared at the empty plates.
"This is insane, Blair... They feed and price just so they can break slowly and torture to death. You don’t know how insane this is, Blair... facing the world without you, having a mate who wants your blood for reasons known to him while his two beastly brothers are determined to keep you in their pack for their amusent. If I ever get the chance to co back to this world, I hope I have a better life or early death like mom... That’s the best thing." I whispered softly as a tear slipped down my cheek.
