I was trembling as we got into the living room. I went on my knees, my gaze plastered to the ground while Conner walked inside with Nikolai.
"Go down." Alpha Ryker ordered to my shock and Conner obeyed, smiling nervously.
"Asher, who is this?" Ryker asked and Asher looked around, slightly perplexed.
"That’s Conner, the head of slaves for the..."
"No, this." His hand pointed at , filling with more fear.
"The... Your slave, Alpha." Asher answered with a shaky voice and Ryker nodded softly.
"What are the rules in this house about things that belong to ?" He asked Conner who was beginning to shake visibly.
"N... Never to touch anything that belongs to you, Alpha." He stamred as sweat covered his face.
"Never, never touch what belongs to !" Ryker snarled, making everyone flinch with fear.
He stood up, walking over with his claws protruded, Conner was filled with fear, almost about to die and Ryker stood him in front of him, his claw on Ryker’s neck.
"You laid your filthy hands on my property twice, Conner... I overlooked the first but I’m not going to do the sa for the second." Ryker announced and Conner laid flat, shaking.
"Please... Please Alpha... It was a mistake... I promise never to lay a finger on her... Alpha... I promise never to touch her..." He stamred as he spoke rapidly and Ryker sneered.

I stood there in shock, frozen to death as everything replayed in my head. Did he just cut off a man’s dick for molesting ? Alpha Conner deserved to be punished, this felt a little extre...

"Co." Nikolai ordered and I rose up imdiately, my body was still in shock as as Nikolai led out, I decided to speak up about what happened at the stables.

"You will work in the pack house from today, this is Myla, she’ll assign you to your daily duties." With that, he walked away while Myla stared at with a smile.
"I’m so glad you’re still alive... I heard about everything. You’ve been going through a tough ti in this house and you’re tough and you’ll scale through." She advised and I nodded, exhaling softly.
"Since there’s very little to do today, you’ll be assigned to the kitchen, you’ll help the chef prepare dinner and when that’s done, you can return to your room. Have you eaten, my dear?" She demanded as we walked into the kitchen and my stomach rumbled in response.
"Have your al and when you’re done, join the chef." She instructed before walking away and I smiled as she handed over my food to .
I was having my al at the long table that felt like a dinner table for the maids when a few maids walked inside.
"Isn’t that the slave that used to work for Elena?"
"Yes, the one that was taken to the den but the alphas were kind enough to rescue her."

"Are you deaf? I just said you don’t belong here. Do you think you’re worthy of stepping foot in here?" She demanded and as I opened my mouth to speak, the chef cleared his throat.
"Myla brought her here, she’s now a part of us. I’m chef Hugo." He introduced with a small smile and I nodded.
"What?" Their faces were filled with shock and they glanced at each other with disbelief.
"Is this a joke? Do they just bring in anybody to be around the alpha’s al?" Soone mumbled and the girl in front of scoffed.
"Don’t get on your high horses slave, you don’t belong here, you belong in the stables tending to horses that are supposed to trample you and you also belong in the den, where you’re supposed to be used to the brink while your remains should be devoured by the hungry wolves out there." She snarled, chuckling as she walked away.
"Ignore her, Rose can be very annoying, you don’t need to pay too much attention to her." Hugo whispered with a smile and I nodded.
