"I... I don’t understand, Alpha..." I stamred and he paced around for almost a minute.

I almost died of panic, I don’t rember ever doing anything or being told sothing as crazy as this.

"You take suppressants whenever you see it, you’re trying to hide your scent which is seeping out faintly." Alpha Ryker muttered and my eyes almost popped out in astonishnt.

"I... I would never take suppressants. I have no reason to hide my scent... I found my mate already, there’s no way I could’ve found my mate if my scent was hidden... Alpha." I explained with quivering lips.

"There’s more to you, slave... There’s a lot of things you’re not saying. Why Dylan wants you at all cost, why your scent is hidden and how Thor was miraculously healed last night." Ryker listed out and I inhaled deeply.

I threw on a dress and with a smile, I left the pack house, smiling as I glanced at the streets.

I walked into a store, heading to the back to get a little necklace. My eyes caught a gown and I grinned as I stared at the beautiful silver long gown.

It was breathtaking and imagining it on myself, I looked like a goddess.

I inhaled softly as I walked to the back, they had chains, shells, pebbles and trinkets. It was beautiful and surprisingly cheap.

I smiled as I tried on a pebbled necklace, pleased as I stared at my reflection. I paid for a matching hand chain, bowing my head as I handed out the money to him.

I couldn’t help but rember those days when mom would get a new item and watch try it on, her eyes glowing with delight.

I exhaled softly, swallowing back tears as I walked out of the store.

I passed by a few food stands, they all looked delicious and I stared at the last piece of money I had, swallowing saliva.

"I’ll have one." I replied with a smile and the store owner nodded, smiling as he handed out the bag to .

I munched on it with a joyous grin, passing by another store that sold dresses.

"Go in and check them out, nobody would fault you for admiring beautiful dresses." A voice whispered in my head and I nodded, tossing the empty bag as I walked into the store.

I flashed a smile at the attendant as I glanced around, gasping almost every ten seconds when another beautiful dress ca to view.

"Wow... Goddess!" I wowed as I stared at a drop dead short blue gown. It was everything any lady would want.

I inhaled softly, spinning around and my eyes almost popped out when I ca into view with Elena.

Her smile disappeared imdiately and I bowed my head, trying to rush out when she grabbed my hand.

"What’s wrong? Not so fast, you filthy thing." She ordered as she pushed back and I swallowed.

"Plea... Please let go." I pleaded and she scoffed.

"What is a low life like you doing out in the streets? Shouldn’t you be with your other servants, doing one dirty job?" She pointed out and I swallowed.

She was with two friends, they were adorned in jewelry and flashy clothes. They glanced at with contempt.

"Please let go." I pleaded and she burst into laughter, walking around in a circle.

"Why? I’m not letting you go until you tell what you’re doing here. Is the alpha aware that you’re here? Did you run away from the pack house?" She asked, gasping as she placed a hand on her chest and I shook my head.

"You stole from the alpha! You ran away because you stole sothing from the alpha and now you’re in this shop, trying to steal from this store!" She concluded and I almost collapsed from shock.

Goddess my scalp hurt, it felt like my head was being peeled.

"What is going on?" A familiar voice demanded and we went still, slowly turning around to see Alpha Ryker standing there, eyes dark and lips pressed into a thin line.

I could tell he was furious and I swallowed, knowing I’d get into trouble again.

"Alpha Ryker... Your filthy maid!" Elena broke into tears, sobbing profusely while I scoffed. I knew the ga she was trying to play.

"She attacked . I caught her trying to steal in this store... She was also trying to run away when I caught her. I stopped her and tried to make her admit her mistakes but she grabbed my hair, pulling so hard I feel a migraine." She continued, breaking into more tears.

Alpha Ryker remained silent, he just watched her and he nodded softly. Without a word, he grabbed my hand, turning around as we began walking out.

"Al... Alpha!" Elena called out, stunned that he said nothing and he turned around, facing her with a raised brow.

I was in shock. Was he going to punish ? Why didn’t he say anything to her? It was strange and scary.
