I growled as I paced around the room. "Is she awake?" I demanded and Nikolai shook his head before he stepped away.

My wolf was furious and restless. Throughout the night he couldn’t sleep.

He’s been able to sleep for two nights now because of her, she hunts him day in and out.

"She’s not our mate... She belongs to Dylan." I gritted out and my wolf snarled, rageous as he tried to take over, clawing at my insides.

He hated to hear Dylan’s na. He wanted her to himself, to belong to him alone and I hated it.

I hated the fact that she proclaid all three of us were her mates and we could all feel the bond.

It was surreal, insane and only the goddess knew how she did it but she would be undoing it very soon.

My wolf was still clawing at , urging to head to her room to check her. He wanted to see how she was doing herself.

He wanted her close, to watch and protect her from my wrath.

He suggested going to her room again and I snarled as I dashed out, heading into the forest.

Once far from the pack, I shifted into my wolf form, dashing off as I raced for miles, wanting to exhaust my wolf before returning to the house.

It was certain he would overpower and make go see her but if exhausted, he would forbid the night resting.

I climbed a huge rock, howling at the moon for almost thirty minutes. More howls ca from different areas and I panted heavily as I stepped down, breathless.

I collapsed to the ground, staring at the setting sun. I heard movents and instinctively, I rose.

Thor’s scent was in the air and I glanced around curiously. He erged from the bushes, exhausted and in his human form.

I reverted to my human form as he collapsed beside , both of us silent as we let nature do the talking for so ti.

"She can’t be our mate..." I let out softly and Thor grunted in response.

"We’re past the mating age, there’s no way she can be mated to three n, it’s impossible. Maybe there’s more to her that even Dylan is unaware of." I suggested.

"There is, she’s no ordinary wolf." Thor added and I inhaled, glancing at him.

"My wolf is restless... He wants to protect her, he wants to claim her." I could see Thor trying to suppress his rage.

"What if nothing can be done and it turns out to be true? Who is going to take her? Our wolf would definitely be furious if she goes with Dylan... That’s one thing we know is never happening..." I pointed out and he scoffed.

"I don’t care about what happens later but she’ll never be my mate. My wolf would never mark her or claim her as his." A roar left his chest, it was his wolf protesting but he managed to silence him.

Thor found it less difficult to control his wolf and it was one thing I envied about him. If I could dominate my wolf, it would stop the insane thoughts going on in my head.

"I just hope we don’t end up fighting. It would be tragic to have us fight over a re slave." I whisperer, my wolf clawing at for how harsh my words were.

"We’ve lived long enough to know that nothing can separate the bond between us. Nobody would ever get in our way, mate or not, let’s forget about her and have a little race, irs been ages." Thor suggested and I burst into laughter as I stood up.

"You’re still going to win, you’ve always been more athletic and agile than ." I burst out laughing and he shook his head.

"Maybe this ti would be different, maybe things have changed, after all we haven’t raced in years." He pointed out and I nodded as we both shifted into our human forms.

We dashed out into the forest, racing to the end of the cliff.

I glanced wound occasionally to see where he was and I wasn’t shocked to see him in front of .

It only made increase my speed as I tired to caught up with him.

We arrived at the cliff at the sa thing, panting heavily as we fell to the ground, slowly reverting to our human forms.

I burst into laughter, shaking my head. "We’re even now." I replied in between breaths and he chuckled.

"First ti in three decades." He taunted and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh please, you know I always get distracted easily when running." I found an excuse and he shook his head.

"We should head ho, it’s getting late." He replied as he stood up, extending his hand to as he helped stand up.

I smiled at him, exhaling softly, it had been forever since we had a little ti like this to ourselves.

He placed his hand around my shoulder as we walked to the house together, relishing the old mories of our youthful days.

Days we spent having the best ti of our lives while living in misery under Tina, Dylan’s mom.

We arrived at the pack house to see Nikolai standing by the door. Brielle’s scent was thick, it filled the whole room.

It made my insides clench as I sniffed the air, trying not to make it too obvious.

Thor shut and opened his eyes repeatedly, trying to push out her scent but it persisted and I let out a small growl.

I turned to Thor, my eyes baring the sa question.

Without another word, we turned to the direction of her room.

Arriving at her room, she shut her eyes tightly, her breathing uneven as she tried to pretend to be asleep.

I frowned in disdain but my wolf was furious at , he wanted to protect her and assure her that everything was fine, the exact opposite of what I wanted.
