At that moment, Mountain Ridge Source’s calm voice echoed in Bu Po’s ear. “Go ahead and eat. These fruits aren’t poisonous. But don’t eat them too quickly. They contain spirit qi, which you need. If you eat too much of it, the spirit qi will run wild in your body and scatter!”
Bu Po picked out from the plate the same fruit that the Spirit Mother had tossed to him and gave to his sister, saying, “Sister, eat this in small bites. This fruit is good for you!”

Just as the Spirit Mother was about to continue testing Bu Po, the latter asked calmly, “Lord Spirit Mother, did you ask to see me because you want to teach me something? I’m here now!”
The Spirit Mother’s eyes flashed, and he fixed them on Bu Po’s eyes.
“Little Po, in every way that counts, I am your teacher. You can’t escape from this fact. Why else would a teacher look for his student? It can only be to teach him. Are you willing to give me this chance?”
Bu Po chuckled, and his laughter was filled with the innocence and vigor of youth. However, his gaze did not falter at all.
“I’ve waited for so long for you to finally be willing to teach me. It’s my privilege! Thank you for showering me with your love! But I would like to ask, if I do give you this chance, what will you be able to teach me?”
Bu Po had steadily parried the Spirit Mother’s test move.
